Richard and James were extremely helpful throughout the process of buying mine and my partners' first home together. They were accommodating for the arranging of visits, often at short notice, and generally made an expressed effort to be communicative through the process whilst assisting with the chasing-up of solicitors. Insofar as buying a house can be, a relatively stress-free experience which was much appreciated.

1 Star is too many stars in my opinion...

I approached Bridgfords and Michael Poole last year to see about selling my late fathers Bungalow. I found their sales tactics to be a bit off, immediately trying to upsell me services I personally felt had no value, insisting it would make every difference. I begged to differ and having a bad gut feeling about them and a positive experience with Michael Poole I chose Michael Poole instead. Then came the phone calls trying to get me to switch and saying they would do a better job. After the second phone call I made it clear I was definitely not going to change my mind and asked them to remove my number from their records and not call me again. I received several other phone calls 2 or 3 weeks apart from each other and after repeatedly asking them to not call me again, the final call I received I told them (not very nicely) that if they contacted me one more time I would report them to the police for harassment as I had made it clear on several occasions I didn't want them to contact me.

The worst out there

The worst out there, put us through so much drama, very stressful and mentally draining, their mortgage broker is absolutely useless, 4 months later we were declined, absolute waste of time, waste of energy, they just didn't want us to buy it for some reason, maybe because we are a different skin colour to them! Stay away from the burnley branch, good lord, how do they get away with this bs.

Bridgefords are the worst estate agents…

Bridgefords are the worst estate agents i have ever come across, i am so glad i did not decide to sell my house with them! They never answer the calls, constantly leaving voicemails, very rarely they call you back! I viewed a property with them a week or so ago & no follow up phone call the following day, I wanted to make an offer , left several voicemails & nothing! Please avoid Bridgefords at all costs. They are the worst estate agents i have ever come across. Please stay away!

The experience with the Withington letting and sales office has been excellent, special thanks to Emma-Jayne and Briony who have been super helpful and efficient by all means. They provided a fast, reliable, always there to help with any questions. They also found me tenants within a week and kept me informed of all the progress from start to end, which was incredible. Valuation?? They can't be bothered!

Booked in a valuation with Bridgfords. They called the following morning at 830 which was very efficient. Was advised over the phone that this would take 30 minutes. Had a phone call from the Sale branch on the morning of the appointment. Asked if i intended to put my house up for sale, said it would be dependent on the equity we have in the house. He said the valuation would take and hour and a half and he could send a virtual valuation. It sounded like the guy couldn't be bothered at all. If this is the level of experience you get from someone that is trying to get your business, I would hate to think about the experience you would have selling through this place. Really poor service!

Customer service needs to be worked on. As a tenant here I’ve noticed they rush you for your money; Isabella in particular did this - they constantly called and gave the excuse other people were interested in the property purely because they were under pressure to let. After hurriedly making the payment needed communication dropped. They are so hard to get a hold of with no clarity regarding the contract or safeguarding (fire alarm checks, maintenance etc). A written contract should be one of the first things agencies provide so you as a tenant are aware of what you are walking into but be have had no information, only had to take Isabella’s words; verbally. Unprofessional service. They do not even provide floor plans for their properties - this adds to their lack of awareness of what is going on. There is a lack of care for you as a tenant and your protection/right as a tenant - they barely perform their duty and only care when it’s time to take your money. Bridgford please work on your contracts and customer service - you need to do more for the tenants.
