I have used Bridgfords Withington Office to manage my rental properties for the last 2 years. The recent personnel changes- new manager Angela Anderson and her able assistant Jessican Nunn - have been for the better. Both are easy to contact in person at the branch or by phone and email and are providing a superb service. My tenants are equally happy with the service they receive from the branch and from Angela and Jessica. I would highly recommend Bridgfords and Angela and her team to any property owners for letting and management services and to any prospective tenants looking to rent a home.

Quite frankly the worst letting agents I have ever had to deal with. The google reviews cannot be trusted as they ask for a review when you move in - and once you've done that, the problems start. They are consistently rude, unhelpful and highly uncommunicative about any issues. The one called Isabelle is particularly nasty, will always shout over you on the phone and regularly tried to undermine our tenancy agreement by bringing prospective tenants over with no notice in the middle of lockdown, with no testing in place and going over the (legal!!) limits with number of people attending. She has no respect for us or the tenancy agreement and her attitude was absolutely appalling when we tried to bring up these issues. I don't understand how she is still working there. Our deposit has also not been returned to us for over a month, and after asking multiple times over we were told we never paid a deposit. Only after a month of us consistently ringing and emailing have they admitted that the landlord has the deposit, and that they can't or won't contact him. It seems that lies and deceit are common at bridgfords, they will be lovely to you when you apply for the property and once that has happened you will be dropped entirely. They lie about communications when they are clearly too lazy do anything about it themselves, and are only interested in getting your money from you. I can't even say they have bad customer service because there is no service whatsoever. Hands down the worst letting experience I have ever had in my life. Just want to give a huge shout out to all the people working at bridgefords in Withington. I have been struggling for 9 months to find a suitable home for me and my kids, so many people saying no for a unreasonable reasons. Then I came across bridgefords who dealt with my case in a professional and personal way that made me feel comfortable and looked after. I dealt with Isabelle who was absolutely amazing throughout the whole process of finding me a home. After securing one and that too falling through at the last minute Isabelle and her colleague Jessica helped secure me a last minute house that fitted all my needs! Isabelle and Jessica kept me posted throughout the whole process and worked around my hectic work schedule to get me into the property in time. They were amazing! Although this no fault of Bridgfords it was a very long drawn out process, the team were consistent, communicative and responsive. Well what I can say! SHOCKING SERVICE.

Well what I can say!! After 7 years we have had enough and made the decision to move after countless problems. I am now having to move away from the area I grew up in and also I have to let my pet dog go after all the problems and YES BRIDGFORDS YOU ARE TO BLAME!!!! When we moved into the property it was just about habitable, it should not of been presented in the way it was but we were desperate. Over the years we improved the property ourselves and made it a nice home and we genuinely felt at home. Problems included heating pump problems, shower problems, we were left without a gas hob for 6 weeks, had to live practically off ready meals. Roof leaks, boiler problems which take weeks or even months to resolve. The penultimate decision to move was made when we were left without heating over the Christmas period, the house ended up like an ice box to the extreme causing massive distress to us and our young children, but they just don't care, waiting days and days for quotes to be accepted. Money comes before Health and Safety with these guys and to top it off we are being harassed to arrange viewings for new tenants, absolute joke. Unlucky for them is that I know property law, probably better than them and I have the right to refuse access to them until tenancy agreement ends. No one from the agency has ever been out to inspect the property in 7 years but they are willing to show people around, for they all know the property could be trashed. Absolutely unprofessional, some staff should be nowhere near the business of real estate. I think they think that payment of rent is just for the property, its not you pay rent for a service to which you do not get! DO NOT RENT A PROPERTY FROM BRIDGFORDS. Its just a shame it has come to this but they are to BLAME FOR IT ALL!! SIMPLE. GOOD LUCK TO WHOEVER MOVES IN!!

Absolutely shocking , no chase ups , no progress or updates for my purchase, no follow up , consequently a £400 k purchase failing at the last minute , not qualified to sell houses correctly, , complete garbage im afraid , cost me thousands in abortive fees , totally lied to & lead down the garden path. Myself and my Girlfriend have had a nightmare trying to find a house in the middle of a global pandemic and just before Christmas. We had lost hope. We then found a flat we both really liked, Isabelle and Jessica made this possible. Needed to find a new place to move to at relatively short notice. Found a flat with Bridgfords and spoke with Jessica to get more information about the flat. After a couple of day, Jessica was able to help out with everything I needed, helped answer the small questions I had due to my own inexperience in renting, and then passed me on to Isabelle to handle the rest. They both have helped a lot in this process, being very friendly and prompt with their help. The whole process could have been much harder, but it has felt like I've been guided through the process with all the support I've needed. Unfortunately, i read these reviews quite late and I am in agreement with all the negative opinions about Bridgfords Withington. We tried to buy a flat, but when we told them that we have our own mortgage advisor, the communication stopped. When we tried to get updates, they would try to discourage us to continue. They went on making an offer for our maximum budget, despite only having 1 additional buyer who offered 25k less than us. Dishonesty/ lack of transparency and totally unprofessionalism, especially Richard/ Hammad. I am happy I did not use their services, and I now select properties which are not in their portfolio. Quite sure the seller has received a lower offer as well, which is a shame as the flat was superb. Avoid!

I cannot express how much Bridgfords helped with the selling process; at every given opportunity they went they extra mile to ensure that the house sale went through in text book fashion. I first made contact with Adam Gaulton after reading some good reviews, got a brilliant 3d walk around of the place, really nice, light pictures, and importantly Adam and the team (most notably Seeta and Hannah) did the work to get the right buyer through the door and then everything could possible do to ensure the sale went through efficiently. I don’t have a bad word to say about them and I couldn’t have asked for more. Thank you all!

We've not moved in yet, but we were so impressed by how efficient the process of viewing and securing a rental with Isabelle was. We were honestly ready for it to be a bit of an ordeal, but Isabelle had agreed our let with the landlord by the time we got home and was really responsive while we were sorting our checks and addressing a minor issue with the house (thanks also to Jess!) If this is the standard of customer service throughout our tenancy, we will be very happy with Bridgfords.
