This was without a doubt one of the worst tenancy experiences I’ve ever had. If I could give zero stars, or even negative ones, I absolutely would. Repairs and fixes were consistently delayed, even for issues clearly listed in the contract. It took them 10 months to address everything they had promised in the contract, and only after countless emails and constant pressure. During that time, I had to deal with an insecure mailbox that left my mail stolen multiple times before they finally replaced the lock. The mattress, which was supposed to be changed according to the contract, didn’t fit the bed frame. After lots of back-and-forth, they “resolved” it by replacing the entire bed with a smaller one. The blinds in the bedroom, also promised to be fixed in the contract, kept falling down regularly for nearly a year before they were fixed. The toilet’s flushing system was broken for three weeks until it got repaired. On top of that, the flat, rented as furnished, was filthy when I moved in. The carpet was dirty, and the chairs were heavily stained. It was clear the previous tenant left it in terrible condition, yet the landlord/agency did nothing to prepare it properly. Then, upon moving out, I was still charged an extortionate fee for “end of tenancy cleaning” even for cleaning the carpet that was already dirty when I moved in. It took me also 19 days to finally get my deposit back after the tenancy was terminated. Rent with them at your own risk!

I am a landlord and started using life residential a few years ago and have now left. Terrible experience and I feel sorry for the experience of the tenants as well. The process of letting the proterty out is good but the management is terrible. Constantly changes in the property manager and no hand over between them. Issues are left unresolved for both tenant and landlord. Double billing! It seems like their internal processes are terrible

I just thought I would update my review since the original one was written in 2017 and I've now been using Life for 7 years. They continue to provide excellent service - on the tenant side, they constantly monitor the market to ensure the best rates and I've not had a single default or any damage beyond wear and tear across what must be 50-60 tenancies over 7 years. On the maintenance side my relationship manager Melody is tireless and her interventions to ensure we make the best decisions and source correctly have saved many hundreds of pounds
