Life Residential lettings experience

I made an investment in the UK residential properties 8 years ago, and Life Residential have been my letting and management agent since then. I have been always happy about their services, especially lately when there have been quite a few legal changes effecting tenancies.

Good for both landlord and tenants

I'm a landlord with several properties fully managed by Life for 7+ years, as well as some in other areas which are managed by other agents as Life don't operate there. Life Residential beats the other agents hands down in terms of professionalism and service both to me as landlord, and to my tenants. I know that they look out for my tenants' interests, advocating on behalf of the tenants to say, eg this repair must be completed promptly as it's not fair on the tenants to delay. From my point of view I have had several good property managers over the years. Particular credit is due to Nick Martin in management because I have come to trust his judgement regarding works needed on the properties and I respect the fact that he will be very clear if something needs to be done, and has good relationships with the trades so can get works done promptly and for a fair price. Cliff in Sales has been great too, coming up with ideas for changing the layout in my properties to make them better for tenants and more profitable for me. I just wish Life also covered the towns where my other properties are.

Reliable agent

I recently started working with Kevin Faria de Matos as my property agent and have been really impressed. He is attentive, responsive and genuinely proactive in addressing any issues that arise, always keen to resolve things as quickly as possible. It's rare to find an agent who makes you feel like a priority, but Kevin does exactly that. Highly recommend him to anyone looking for a reliable and dedicated property agent.

Overall great experience, swift and efficient solutions to all our everyday issues with the flat!

We had a great experience with Life Residential until now. They help us a lot to have a smooth transition into our new flat. Especially Sophie, our current Property Manager, has been excellent, kind and proactive, always keen to assist us with any issues that we had with the flat during the first few weeks, dealing with everything swiftly and efficiently. We are happy to have Marcus as a property manager. He contacted us very promptly to find out about the issues we needed solved. He visited the rented flat just the next day after his holiday. Marcus is very courteous, pleasant, well-mannered and responsive in solving issues in our rented flat. I may not swap another Letting Agent. => To change that it is a painful process and maybe difficult. => I am overseas Landlord. Pooja Pandya is very responsible and done a good job

Pooja Pandya is very responsible. My apartment still 4 months away from expiration, and she has renewed the tenancy for another year. I don't know whether the tenant contacted her first or she’s first to contact the tenant. But she completed the whole thing in one day. This made me feel at ease for another year not to worry. I have been a landlord for a while, usually agents only contacted the tenants two months in advance. Therefore, my apartment would be vacant for weeks without rental income. Disappointing breakdown in service and communication after years of good management

I have used LiFE Residential for many years and previously had a good experience with them. Unfortunately, their service severely deteriorated last year, particularly between February and June 2025, forcing me to move my property management elsewhere.
