I had an incredibly unfair and unprofessional experience with the Foxtons Deposits Team. We moved out in October 2025, yet it took five months for any clarity regarding our deposit, a delay that felt like a tactical move to strip us of our right to provide counter-evidence.

Came into contact with Mo through seeing a property ad on Rightmove. Mo is an absolute asset to the company! I'm a first time buyer and I felt at ease immediately. There is a lot to navigate in property searching, but this was manageable thanks to Mo's patience, genuineness and expertise. He took the time to understand our brief, get to know us and respond quickly. I really appreciate his effort and understanding throughout what can be such a daunting process - it certainly gave us hope and motivation when we needed it. Had contacted them for viewing a property listed in Streatham . Made me wait over a whole week, even though I wanted to initially put an offer and get it done. They waited until the listing had more and more people as they wanted to juice out whoever offered the most , why list the property at 225 and then everyone pay way above ? Nonetheless, submitting the offer period both time first and final offer that I had placed for the property, somehow the other seller offered 2k more then my price submitted . Make it make sense?! How do I get told the offer is around 40 , I’m the last one to submit an offer which is closer to 50 , and the “best offer” is again 2k more then mine . Again?! This just shows foxton DISCRIMINATION against FIRST TIME BUYERS. There manger KEVIN started explaining how if the price isn’t matched then it’s on the market again , thinking I wouldn’t notice the low marks aimed at me increasing my offer and being serious, when I requested and stayed updated more then there team, I had to call them back numerous times, and then after each day towards closing time , I’d have to call them again to get a call back, where they would say any news. Honestly, not everyone’s GULLIBLE , it’s 2025. People can see how they ARE behind the scenes - favouritism. I’d highly suggest first time buyers or anyone that finds a good buy to avoid even booking a viewing until you confirm with them if there won’t be a “biding war” for a property specified at a certain price and doesn’t mention offers in excess or auction . Nonetheless, it’s very suspicious that how one offers his final number around what’s supposed to be highest offer given , yet when it’s decided , again his offer is “2k less” then the other interested buyers?!

I was highly dissatisfied with the service provided by Foxtons Streatham. I enlisted my 1-bedroom flat in Streatham for sale with Foxtons for a period exceeding 3 months, during which I did not receive any feedback regarding the number of viewings conducted or any feedback from potential buyers. The only feedback provided was to reduce the price based on other properties selling for less in the area, a decision that should have been made at the outset of listing the property. Throughout the 3-month period, they made a couple of attempts to provide feedback; however, upon my follow-up calls, when I was able to speak to someone they were unable to provide any viewer feedback, and in most instances, I did not receive a call back at all. Furthermore, the estate agents failed to properly secure the front door and balcony door of the property, resulting in a security breach. Additionally, they did not remove their shoes during viewings, leading to marks on my newly installed carpet. Subsequently, I lodged an official complaint via phone and followed up in writing via email. Despite being informed that I would receive an official response acknowledging my complaint within 3 working days, this did not materialise. Consequently, two weeks after filing my complaint, I was compelled to terminate my contract with Foxtons due to their failure to address my concerns adequately. To date, Foxtons has not provided a written acknowledgment of my complaint, nor have they offered an apology or demonstrated any response to the substandard customer service they have delivered. In conclusion, I am profoundly disappointed with Foxtons due to their inadequate customer service, lack of viewing feedback, security lapses, failure to maintain cleanliness of the property, and non-compliance with their complaint resolution process.

I was recently looking for a place with my partner, and I came across some properties listed from this agency. Emi, a very friendly and professional individual from the Streatham Hill branch planned and took me on some viewings, which was very smooth and enjoyable, and even though we did not find a place on our first set of viewings, Emi still looked out for other properties on the radar and recommended them to us in the next few days. Foxtons found tenants for my property who filmed porn and offer "happy ending" massage services.

I trusted Foxtons to manage my property professionally. They found the tenants, collected commission (2 months rent per year) and management fees, and were contractually obligated to inspect and monitor my home. They failed on every count.

Foxtons’s account’s department have bad ethical practices.The charged me as a landlord 3 years commission & after six months again charged me 2 years commission for the same property.when I complained they credited part of the commission but after a week they recharged me some more commission.As the tenant rent is deposited directly into Foxtons’s account I cannot do much about it and am finally taking them to court for fraudulent activity.
