Rudeness and false information

Please see my daughter's review below and the comment from Emma's office. Emma's are posting incorrect information. It's a shame you feel that to combat Anna’s comments, you had to say that "you indicated when you gave notice that it was because you could no longer afford to remain in the flat" - this is entirely false and Anna gave no reason for moving on in her email. I have the email as evidence. Even if this was true, posting publicly about my daughter's financial position is totally inappropriate.I had to contact the landlord mid-tenancy to complain and Emma's were very reluctant to give me his details. The absence of a working fridge caused a rodent problem and when challenging Emma about this she was beyond rude. What a shame-it's a lovely property.Potential renters, please let this be an example of the poor form from this agency. Do not rent from them.

Would not rent from Emma's again.

My experience with Emma's was challenging, frustrating and inadequate. Firstly, some of the agents were rude to myself and my family over the phone, which is obviously entirely inappropriate. Secondly, they did not fix problems in the flat with any urgency or any care for their tenants (my fridge was broken and I had to wait two weeks for a repair, with no replacement provided despite the white goods being their responsibility, so leaving me with no safe place to store food for two weeks)Unfortunately, it seems that Emma's focuses solely on collecting rent and not on the happiness or security of their tenants. Would not recommend. I adored my flat, but had to move on because of the poor management.

Emma and her team are really amazing. Many things happened in 2 years in our tiny 1bed flat and every single problem was handled quickly and efficiently. From broken tap to new fridge and new bed, a little mouse and an emergency during Christmas time, Emma's agency never disappointed us. I not used to write reviews, but Emma's team deserves it. Great experience and am renting with them again!

I rented with Emma's for over 5yrs, and the fact when i moved to my new rental i stuck with them says it all. They are great. I found them a pleasure to deal with, and while i never really had many issues throughout my tenancy, they were always responsive and helpful whenever i did need. They were particularly helpful when i was moving out of my flat and were incredibly flexible, helpful and understanding of shifting check-out dates etc. They have always been fair on rental price (they retracted a rental increase during COVID) and very very fair on deposits and general tenant costs. From my experience I highly recommend them and look forward to continuing to rent with them!

Helpful and honest estate agents

Every question we had, or worry was put to ease with the way Emma's conduct themselves, nothing is too silly or too small / big an issue and will help in every way they can. Our experience with Emma's has helped give us a little more faith in the world of Estate Agents which can leave many feeling disheartened. They work hard to ensure that timings are met and understand that every person, property etc is an individual case, not a one type fits all which again is really helpful when it comes to renting a property. I would highly recommend Emma's, and if and when we move out of our current property we would be sure to see what else Emma's has to offer in order to be truly looked after.

Fantastic Agents!

I had such a good experience when dealing with Emma's, the whole team are very friendly, professional and ensure everything is covered and sorted for you. They made our moving experience completely stress free which is hard to come by! They were always quick to respond to our emails or phone calls and always provided sound advice. If you are looking for quality customer service, genuine advice and efficiency throughout your moving process then I can't recommend Emma's enough! They have a very stylish office in Streatham with some very lovely dogs... because who doesn't love an office dog?

Steer clear of Emma. Rudest, most passive aggressive and defensive person I have ever encountered. From the first phone call I had with her up until the last email exchange, I have never been treated so shamefully. They will cut every corner to take your money and save theirs, and have no sense of reason. I was hung up on the phone by Emma after enquiring about a chest of drawers for my ‘fully furnished’ bedroom that was two weeks late, received no compensation for no hot water for the first two weeks and then got charged an extra cleaning fee at the end of the tenancy despite the flat being professionally cleaned AFTER I moved in. Everyone working at this estate agents is incredibly rude, especially Emma. I have no idea why she started a customer facing business if she hates her customers.
