Thomas made things easy

Thomas has been extremely helpful throughout an otherwise difficult period in the year for me. Writing my PhD thesis, publishing a book chapter, and also working full-time has been frantic to say the least. It’s refreshing (and a welcome surprise) to have an agent who takes the time to offer his clients the best service available. Diligent, welcoming, and forward-thinking; I have no reservation in recommending him.

They manage a flat for me, we dropped the price as fast as possible to find a tennant, something that they assured me wouldn't be necessary when buying the property, and the tennant made 1 months rent before defaulting. My engagement with NPG has fast become the most expensive mistake to date. Avoid.

North property group, and in particular Jake who we have spoken the most with, have been extremely responsive, friendly, accommodating and helpful. We have dealt with many agencies when renting NPG have stood out from the rest. They respect and look after the tenants rather than just the landlords, as has been our previous experience. I would genuinely recommend them to other renters.

You've been warned

These guys will make up numbers. They’ll do anything to commit you to a sale. They don't care about you. They've got ZERO integrity. When the purchase falls through because surprise surprise, the forecasts were all lies, and you need to cough up extra money to make up the shortfall for the mortgage, they'll wash their hands off you and stop picking your calls. I had one of these thieves on a call tell me that one option available to me was to "make up the little change" with my money, like we were not so callously talking about tens of thousand of pounds. Worst of all they've flat out refused to refund my furniture and Blinds deposit which I paid for in good faith, and refused to put me in touch with the supplier. Pretty sure these thieves are shamelessly marketing the flat with my furniture to their next victims. For your peace of mind, and the safety of your life savings which you likely worked really hard for, avoid these scammers. At the very least insist on an exit clause in your contract. You've been warned.

Avoid north Property Group at all…

Avoid north Property Group at all costs. They are completely unreliable and unprofessional. They repeatedly miss appointments and inspections without giving any notice, and even when problems are reported, nothing ever gets resolved. Serious issues like mold, damp, constant leaks, faulty electric heaters that were a fire risk, and nonstop fire alarms were all ignored. The electric gates are a hazard too, there’s no override key, so you can end up trapped in the car park for days, and emergency services wouldn’t even be able to get in. The senior property manager, Marianne Law, is especially unhelpful. She has no regard for tenants, is rude and argumentative, and constantly dismisses concerns instead of taking responsibility. Overall, this is the worst estate agent I’ve ever dealt with. Lazy, careless, and unsafe. I strongly recommend looking elsewhere.
