Just one of the most incompetent…

Just one of the most incompetent nightmare of an agency I've ever had to deal with, over 10 glaringly obvious maintenance issues with the property from day 1,miscommunication all the way through the tenancy and now over 2 weeks since I moved out and still no deposit returned or even agreed amount to return. Trying to deduct over £300 in costs completely irrelevant to me. They are just so slow, especially Millie Ferguson, treats you like you don't matter at all, has no respect for your time and just constantly mess you around. Avoid this agency.

North property group in Manchester is one of the worst estate agency you will ever find . DO not rent with them they will scam you and take away your deposit . They will ignore you and not answer your emails and will make you beg to stay in their property then they will wait till end of your tenancy agreement and tell you that you cannot stay in place and make you homeless . The staff are unprofessional they don’t reply to emails or messages and they never work they are always out of office . They purposely keep ignoring you and then send you an email at 6 pm end of the day in evening so when you reply it says out of office then they take weeks to get back to you . They will find an excuse and say that you left the flat not clean just so they can take your deposit . They charged us 200 pounds for cleaning fee for stains on water !! When u clean its natural that surface might leave a water stain doesn’t mean it’s dirty . Disgusting service disgusting staff . Be careful when you rent they will do anything to make your stay stressful !

Exceptional team

First of all, people be aware of this estate agent and some of their employees because they are very crafting and will scam you out of your money or savings. I dealt with Pennel and her colleagues symraty and they will play games on your intelligence and try to make you think they gave you an aware inform choice. If an estate agent come up with and ask you to pay 6months upfront rent fees and rushed their bank details to you, be aware they are trying to scam you in the economy, rent reference agencies like right move cost less than £50, do not give a week deposit to any estate agent before you pass any reference check. Be careful of landlords who also want to scam vulnerable people out of their savings. I don’t think other reviews are genuinely related to the services offered . The response to the review, - INDEED. Then after collecting thousands of pounds from you then landlord will kick you out . Where the estate agent will cleverly give u 6months tenancy and tell you there will be a clause - clause means give landlord the honourable choice whether to let you continue to stay or not after you have pay the mortage for 6months. Why are people so money hungry mercilessly. Who pays 6 months upfront where average rent is 1/2 flat is £1500/ £2500 and more . Sigh…..

Mid-Term Inspection.

We were due our mid-term inspection. Mary-Jane contacted us and arranged a time and date. She was extremely accommodating and happy to help where possible. Upon the date of inspection, Mary-Jane was sadly absent due to illness. However her colleagues had failed to inform us about necessary re-arrangements.Despite this, Mary-Jane was apologetic and accommodating once she had returned and was able to rearrange this inspection to our convenience. The inspection was conducted quickly and efficiently. Whilst Mary-Jane was informative answering any concerns I had. She was amazing, professional and a lovely person to be around!Mary-Jane’s service was 5* and of value to NPG. It’s a shame her colleagues weren’t able to substitute her value during her absence!

BEWARE! A truly awful and dishonest company!

Where to begin? Everything about this company is bad. From the viewpoint of a landlord, its a real disgrace of a company. You will be charged for everything, but no management takes place at all. They will allow your property to be damaged by tenants, as the boss seems to fire all staff members every few months. The rental team are unaware of any property issues. They also have no team so if the property is vacated no viewings are held. Once i escaped this awful company, i was left with substantial damages and bills left unpaid from tenants. North refused to question or answer who was the tenant and why they never paid electricity bills. They then claimes to have no responsibility. As a landlord ill have a liability, but as this group of crooks was paid for full management, they should check bills are paid. And when not, the landlord needs the tenants details or someway to recoup thesw bills. On top of this, once i did move to another agency their team turned up at the door of one of my apartments, whilst tenanted..harassing the tenants and asking for a viewing. Even though they had been told and it was known the them that i had changed companies, in writing, keys transfered to new agents and email confirmation we dont work together..still they visited? Are they crazy?. I put this down to the fact that the crooked management seem to fire all agents every few months and dont update the systems..anyways the stories are too long for one review. A truly disgusting place..please be careful! Dont use them ever!

Extremely Displeased with North Property Group - Terrible Communication and Added Stress

I recently had the unfortunate experience of dealing with North Property Group, and I feel compelled to share my dissatisfaction with their services. My encounter with this company during the property buying and renting process was nothing short of a nightmare. I bought property in Leeds with them after a lengthy process.The most glaring issue was the complete lack of communication. Attempting to get in touch with anyone from North Property Group was an exercise in frustration. Emails went unanswered, phone calls were ignored, and even when I managed to speak with someone, the information provided was vague and unhelpful. This lack of communication left me feeling completely in the dark and added unnecessary stress to an already complicated process.Moreover, the overall level of professionalism exhibited by North Property Group was severely lacking. It is astonishing that a company in the real estate industry, where clear communication is crucial, could be so negligent in this aspect. The absence of transparency and the disregard for the concerns of property owners are inexcusable.As a property owner, I expected a certain level of support and guidance during the buying and renting process. Instead, North Property Group left me feeling abandoned and overwhelmed. The stress that their incompetence has caused is immeasurable, and I would strongly advise anyone considering their services to think twice.In conclusion, my experience with North Property Group was incredibly disappointing, primarily due to their abysmal communication and lack of professionalism. Good luck with any other agent!

After contacting several agents in Manchester city and the suburbs, I was genuinely shocked at how bad the levels of service were.How any of these agents make money is a complete mystery. All of them were total amateurs with the exception of North Property Group. Adam and all the team have been very professional, generous and friendly. They wont give back your deposit

I would give zero stars if i could. Moved into an apartment (manor mills) with a 11 month tenancy and that was the worst decision i have made. Was filthy and not clean when i moved in. Within 2 months building works started and the view was blocked- noise from builders all the time - and privacy no longer existed. Wasnt even informed of these works prior to moving in and just ‘had to deal with it’ after numerous emails back and forth they decided to drop the rent by a measly £50 per month which is nothing compared to the issues I had.Even after dealing with all of this- when moving out I cleaned the property in a high standard and returned the apartment 10x better than i had found it. Now its been more than 20 days i’ve handed keys back and theres no sign of my deposit coming back- they WILL charge you no matter how clean you leave the property. They will charge you for the most pettiest of things such as a small spec of dirt on the floor knowing that the property has been closed for more than 2 weeks. They wont take into consideration natural wear and tear. Also, if theres something wrong with the property when you move in - you are expected to fix it in ur tenancy. I wiped all surfaces and disinfected them- they took a picture of the chrome surfaces and claimed it as staining when it was simply wiped . They wont answer my calls and each time i call to speak to them especially Amelia shes in a meeting/ or out of office conveniently. I left the property 10x cleaner but still am having to go through this hassle of fighting for my deposit when these letting agents want it for themselves. Shame on these letting agents and I will be disputing my deposit.

Go away inflation :-(

Recently renewed the contract on my flat and it's a mixed bag review. Sophie from NPG was wonderful to deal but the landlord not so much. Wanting to put the rent up by 15.3% is just taking advantage of the current economic situation if you ask me... but I guess that's the environment we are in right now! Given that's not really the fault of NPG, I have opted to give 4 stars instead of 3. Sophie was also always quick to respond to my emails which helped leave me with the minimal amount of frustration possible, if this was not the case then this review could have been a severely negative one.
