Boydens in Kelvidon were amazing. I was up for sale with another estate agent who were rubbish. Boydens took over and got my flat sold very quickly. My chain had a few issues and they sorted it all out for me. Honestly can't recommend them enough. The team are friends and very polite and a pleasure to deal with. If I decided to move again I will be using Boydens again.

We wanted to use Boyden, as our local estate agent to sell our parent’s house. From the moment Jules come on board, we knew he would go above and beyond for our family. His personal approach to us, understanding the sad situation of our parent’s house going up for sale. His knowledge and guidance to selling the house and getting the best price was excellent. He was always kind and exceptional in his communication. Keeping us updated throughout the whole process of selling our house. His work ethic is second to none, i’ve never meet someone so dedicated to the job, hardworking, and always did this with enthusiasm and a happy well mannered approach. He worked endlessly on selling our property which was sometimes hard with the chain. But he never gave up and his total perseverance was exceptional. We were very lucky he was with us every step of the way. We recently purchased a house through Boydens, Kelvedon. We viewed a few houses with Boydens and Amy showed us all of them. She was very friendly and did not put any pressure on us whatsoever, making the whole experience relaxed and it allowed us to give honest feedback. We found the whole process of buying the property stress-free with regular updates from Amy and Sophie who were both very helpful throughout. The 'Sold' sign overstayed its welcome somewhat having been on the property for about a month after our completion but this does not take away from the level of service we received - the team were prompt with great communication and customer service, thank you! Hopefully we have found our forever home but should we ever decide to move again, Boydens will definitely be on the cards!

Awful company to deal with. I don't like writing negative reviews but had to make an exception here. Terrible with communication and unprofessional (at best) with some of their responses. As alot of the other reviews suggest - it's not really a holding/security deposit, it's just another payment they will take from you. Would NOT recommend.

Maintenance charges by Boyden.

Thank you for responding to my review on your appalling service Mr Howe. We have been in our property 13 months and the charge has increased from £220. to £511.83. Greed is the only way to term this increase. Apart from a small patch of green and checking on a pump room once a year which I have no idea where that is. You do absolutely nothing for the huge amount of money you fleece from the elderly people here. I could cut that grass in half an hour which we were previously doing anyway. Nothing has changed since we moved in here and indeed the final 5 bungalows are an item on a page in some office may may never be built. We have no road, just a poorly unsurfaced lane. No lighting. The verges are never cut, rubbish is picked up by the people living here or it would look like a tip. Not on your remit I was informed by your office. If if was we would probably see the charges double. Where is our money going? Into your pockets and bank account for repair somewhere in La La land that will never get done. Your office is already in place and the utility bills etc were already costed so taking us on did not increase those charges. What Management. What Service is the question. The answer is None. Avoid at all cost! Review should be minus any stars.
