I would not sell my house with these…

I would not sell my house with these people badgered while I was buying advised by one not to have a survey to realise when I bought the house ive water leaks everywhere and drains not covered for sewage ..no pipes going into drain from boiler ive had a plumber out who also noticed all this aswell.unhelpful unless they are pushing a sale don't care about the buyers so if I sell it won't be through these .I would like to add some of the girls are lovely and was helpful and did do a lot while I was buying but the attitude of some of the others that's caused this review

Outstanding customer service

From the moment our house was put on the market to the day of completion we were so pleased that we asked Smith and Friends to sell our house. Everything about the selling process was expertly and professionally explained to us in person. The advertising of the property was superb with extras such as drone footage. Throughought the sale we were kept up to date of proceedings by the diligent, courteous and friendly staff. Altogether a positive experience and recommend Smith and Friends for your next property sale/purchase.

A lovely viewing with very helpful staff

I met with Graham from the Ingleby Barwick office with a view to renting a property. As soon as I arrived, Graham was friendly, helpful and made me feel very comfortable. He was very knowledgable and even turned the heating on before I arrived! What a Gent! The staff have also been very helpful on the telephone… fingers crossed my application is successful!

There was a good number of prospective buyers. Staff arranging viewings were efficient but also had time to chat. Staff liaison with my legal firm was good. I should have been notified that the EPC was out of date and that it was not their responsibility to do this.

Superb Letting Agents

Fantastic experience with Mark & Ellie in the letttings team at Ingleby Barwick, they always go above and beyond and nothing is too much trouble. The whole process of finding tenants and moving them in was seamless. Their fees are transparent and include detailed inventories and check out reports which other letting agents normally charge for separately. By far the best letting agent in the local area - keep up the great work!

Disappointed

I was a buyer in this process.Not enough staff to allow us to view the house when we wanted. Viewing staff pleasant.Sales staff very helpful with negotiation with vendor. Sales progression could have communicated more frequently and did not seem to know very much about vendor details or timings. I had the impression she was totally overworked.When we picked up the keys the staff member I spoke with was unhelpful and dismissive. Disappointing experience.

Whilst the experience with the staff at…

Whilst the experience with the staff at the Marton branch was good, as far as we were concerned the iamsold team were part of the bigger team and our experience with them was frustrating. Initially we were told that the auction process would take up to 56 days. The initial offer was accepted on 9/1/24. Completion did not take place till 23/4/24, 103 days later. The delay cost us financially due to the changes in CG tax. We later found out that the buyer wanted to purchase as a business that was not even registered till the end of January. This was the reason for the excessive delay. The communication throughout from iamsold was poor with emails from our solicitor often not being responded to. Unfortunately this reflects on your business as this is who we signed the contract with.
