We had tried two Estate agents and got frustrated with the lack of contact and progress with our sale. We were recommended Paul by friends. What a different experience. Straight away we had more viewings. Paul regularly kept us updated and went above and beyond our expectations. When we sold the first time Paul even put money behind the bar for us as he knew we had had multiple issues, which was a huge surprise. Unfortunately things fell through again and we also lost our purchase but Paul continued tiresly to make sure we found a new buyer and didn't lose the new house we had then found. Can't speak highly enough of Paul who really is the heart of Battle and we wish him all the best as Ashton Stripp in the High Street.

Paul recently handled the sale of my house I benefited greatly from his marketing advice and knowledge of local conditions. He is honest and conscientious and kept in very regular touch. The photo presentation was particularly good. Whilst the sale was relatively straightforward, my subsequent purchase was anything but. Paul was not my vendor’s agent but did not hesitate to liaise with the solicitors, managing agents etc to try to break the deadlock. His advice and support were invaluable during a very stressful period. I found Paul to be calm, insightful and resolute. I have no hesitation in recommending Ashton Stripp as a principled company with a refreshing approach to estate agency.

Leanne was extremely helpful and friendly throughout the whole process. Always returned calls and emails quickly. I would definitely recommend Leanne and the team. My only negative comment is that we used the solicitor suggested by Michael Poole. They made what should have been an easy transaction very difficult and stressful. Alia choreographed a 4 house chain with a multitude of unusual circumstances fantastically well despite the multitude of obscure obstacles that would have derailed most completions. Apart from the house I was purchasing,, she dealt with the sales and purchases of all the others in the chain. She was in constant touch with all of us,, alongside the solicitors, the estate agents and other agencies involved. The sales would not have gone through without her. Amazingly brilliant. I would definitely recommend her. Other estate agents may “ talk the talk” but Alia“walks the walk”. And in the most graceful way I have ever seen. Brilliant. Worth her weight in gold. We had asked Alia in just to give us a rough estimate on our house as we wanted to sell it soon. But she surprised us by actually having a ready willing buyer and we essentially had it sold off market in 24 hours. It was all bit unexpected but a fantastic outcome I would never have believed possible. She is extremely approachable and never stops working hard for her clients. Easy to get hold of and always pleasant and helpful. We are still in the middle of the process but it is so much easier knowing Alia is in control and can step in to advise and assist. I instantly warmed to her as she understood our needs,from that very first meeting that the property in question was not for us. Unlike other estate agents I had met she took the time to understand what I wanted from a home and what I didn't. Not only my requirements but also as a family. We stayed in touch regularly and she kept her word. She didn't arrange unnecessary viewings and kept faith, when sometimes I had lost. Fast forward Alia delivered on her promise made. I have bought and sold many houses over the years and this has been the worst experience ever. Rude, ignorant and unprofessional, particularly Helen. Made the experience unnecessarily stressful. Kirby was the only person who was any help. On top of this the property was miss advertised. It said recent re wire. As it turns out is was 11 years ago. Avoid this company at all costs!

Our house just needed ‘the right buyer’ and from our first meeting of Luke from Michael Poole, Stockton I believe he understood that. I felt he took a personal interest in our sale and worked very hard to find and show that buyer to our house. Kathryn then took over and did proper due diligence on the offer for us to feel confident about the buyers and the sale progressing. Throughout the sale process Kathryn and her team kept it as stress free as possible. Selling this house was reasonably emotional and I felt Kathryn showed empathy and understanding. Kathryn and the team did everything possible to make this a good process and I think went above and beyond my expectations. Highly recommend Michael Poole Stockton.
