Selling our family home was never going to be easy as my parents had owned it for over 65 years. However, Max and Mark at Mishon Mackay in Hove made the experience as pleasant as it could be. We were kept informed as to viewing dates, process of the sale, any hold ups by personal telephone calls backed up by emails. It felt as if the way that our sale was going really mattered. It was handled sensitively and efficiently. Max in particular was available whenever I had a question or worry. I'm glad that I chose them and wouldn't hesitate to recommend Mishon Mackay to others.

Most helpful estate agent in Brighton! Everywhere else extremely difficult to get a response from. Plenty of property suggestions, great communication and kind staff. Special big thank you to Kamila Malina who managed to find us the perfect flat after nearly losing hope of finding anywhere at all in Brighton.

Have been using BV for a number of years and have no complaints. The lettings team are all very competent. Have mainly dealt with Ollie and Lizzy and have enjoyed a good working relationship. Would recommend them for no hassle management of properties.

Our landlord made the decision to sell the flat we were renting, which caused us some initial concern and anxiety about finding a new place to live. Luckily we decided to go back to Mishon Mackay, and James McCartney was able to find us a fantastic new flat in Hove with plenty of time to spare until we were due to move out, which we couldn’t be happier with. James made us feel very at ease and with the help of Jordan Tupper the move was made effortless. We couldn’t recommend James and the team at Mishon Mackay Preston Park high enough.

I have never been more impressed with an estate agent, they are friendly, profession and nothing is ever a hassle. I have dealt with many estate agents in the past and they are hands down the best in the south, in particular, Sue Vila was extremely helpful, she kept me up to date throughout and made sure both solicitors were chased and kept on track to complete as quickly and as efficiently as possible. I would recommend them every time. And I will only use Mishon Mackay from now on.

They demand that you provide them with far more information than is required for referencing purposes and in direct contravention of GDPR. Goodlord themselves outsource the financial checks to Tink. Think will hold your data and have unfettered access to your bank account for 90 days.If you request that Tink removes all access and personal data from its systems immediately after the checks have been done, you receive an automated response that they aim to get back to you within 10 working days.This entire structure is designed to relieve tenants and guarantors of their money and deeply critical and sensitive information while simultaneously denying the opportunity to retain any control.A black marketeers wet dream!

Incredibly slow process concerning contracting. Steps were only executed after I called multiple times. Issues flagged in offer were not followed up. Property was put in the market with malfunctioning or broken appliances which property manager forgot to check.

Very poorly run letting agents. Went to collect my keys and was told that they had to be given to an inventory clerk and I had to walk to meet home at the address. No communication before this to advise of this process. When we got to the address, keys didn’t work and was told they would call a locksmith. Currently waiting for a locksmith that could take 3 hours and I have to just wait around for a locksmith to meet me at the address. All this for over £1,5000…

Thomas was excellent. In fact, in the whole process this company, which was managing the sale, of the property we were buying, were the only ones who were proactively trying to keep things moving.
