Maria’s help and support was invaluable !

Maria helped me resolve an issue rebuilding a very long and tall garden wall. There were many issues regarding who’s responsible for payment and Maria went above and beyond what she’s expected to do. Without her help I would have really struggled to get this done. She was a massive support for me and was always there and willing to do whatever she could to help. It was a long process, Maria stuck with me to the finish and finally we got there. The wall is complete , the right people contributed financially and Maria did all the dealings with the neighbours management company and the builders. The wall now looks fantastic and I’m extremely happy. Thank you so much Maria, you’re a god send .

Rude staff ..lacks Customer

The reason I have given 2 stars is because of the staff. While Beth is lovely. I hesitate to call Brand and Vaughan ( and this I say on behalf of several people I have spoken to,who feel the same)..because of Molly. She is extremly rude and lacks customer skills, along with being unhelpful. We are customers/clients looking for a place. Letting agents need people like us to keep the business going so I dont see the need to be rude or intimidating. Hope Molly gets a taste of her own medicine.

Jenny has been really kind and helpful in helping my friend and I to rent a flat for the first time as professionals, after renting for 4 years as students! Bad experience all round

Not a good experience one bit, changing my review slightly as they gave me half my holding deposit back, but still disappointed, that they rejected my application as my guarantor failed, so they have kept half the holding deposit still, which they said is used to cover 'fees', but they were going to take it over the first months rent, so doesn't make much sense.

Great service from the Hove team

We recently sold our 2 bedroom flat through Mishon Mackay and the customer service was excellent. We were really impressed with Amy at the valuation and it was great to see that professionalism continue with the rest of the team (Tom, Sue, Abby and Steve) throughout the marketing, offer and sales progression stages.Our sale fell through just a few weeks before we were ready to move (through no fault of them) and we had a weekend to find another buyer before the house we were buying went back on the market.The team rallied together to get loads of viewings lined up, keeping us informed throughout and found a great buyer who was able to complete quickly. Moving is a very stressful time but the team did all they could to make the process as painless as possible and we would have no hesitation in using them again or recommending to others.

We have four rentalProperties in Kemptown which Mishon Mackay fully manage and have done so to an exceptionally high standard for several years now. We have complete peace of mind and have full trust in the incredible service Jordan and the team provide (Maria, Natasha, Gracie and Claire) They are so knowledgeable, friendly and professional throughout. Any issues with maintenance are dealt with immediately which offers the Tenants a brilliant service too. My stay in the marina was a lovely experience…

My stay in the marina was a lovely experience. The collection of keys was easy even though it was a bank holiday. The apartment though small was fully kitted out and clean and tidy. The weather was cold but the apartment was warm and cosy. Thank you for taking care of everything with no fuss. The location in the marina is perfect with a super market and plenty of pubs and restaurants all easily at hand. Great bus services into Brighton complete the entire experience.

Polite Staff & Beautiful Properties!

Met with Abi for a viewing yesterday who was so helpful during the my viewing. The property itself was beautiful and unsurprisingly had lots of interest - I asked Abi about the application process and she provided some really useful insight that I was sure enough to include in my application (all completely honest things but perhaps not information I would think to include) and I was promised a call back the following day with an outcome. Sure enough I got a call the next morning, secured a flat I'm absolutely in love with and had such a great experience after lots of setbacks, chasing and unanswered calls to Estate Agents over the last couple of weeks. Thank you Abi, you are a saint!!!

The worse agency I came across ever

The worse agency I came across ever. I wouldn’t give even a star to them. We moved in the absolute dirty house with appliances been damaged (oven dirty with burned fat all over) , carpets couldn’t see the colour on them, back garden grass overgrown (5 foot high), post box damaged to extent that you couldn’t open it (they didn’t had a key anyway) and I’m not exaggerating. This agent from brandvaughan (dressed smart etc) just replied to our shock ....”well you can refuse to move in if you like” ....we didn’t had a choice as you move from one place to other in the same day. We sorted the house out ourselves, agency cleaned the carpets. Right the part when we moved out of the property is even more discussing. We nearly didn’t get our deposit back as agency decided we damaged oven, post box etc. This agent Sarah Whitmarsh kept bullying me with email s (I still have all the proof)that we trashed the place. We left the house in excellent condition but they decided keep my money because they wanted to with comments “you can take us to the court but you not going to win it” . That’s how BranVaughan work ethics rule. I did managed get most of the deposit back as I was going to take them to court and I would of prove them to be liars so whatever happens in your life don’t choose BranVaughan as your letting agency ...that’s a serious warning. Also I haven’t heard a good reviews from friends and general public as I always asked people if they have heard of this awful company.

Bad service, try to take advantage of tents.

Try to charge astronomical cleaning fees for a clean house and for large painting fees for minor wear and tear. During rental period when contacted for problems with the house they did not respond. Our experience was they were just interested in getting rent money fromTenants and keeping as much of the deposit money as possible.

Your agent was 10 minutes late for a viewing, no proper apology or explanation, and as a result appointments had piled up and a group of us were herded around the property unable make a careful assessment. A sub optimal experience that spoke of a distinct lack of respect for renters in general, and which hardly helps the landlord who has entrusted you with finding tenants. A call to your office to relay the experience met a defensive response and a slammed phone. We are impeccable tenants but will not be dealing with you again.

Mishon Mackay - the service we received from the team was excellent. We met with Jay and discussed our requirements for renting out our property. Definitely not tenant friendly.

I'm very happy to leave the property managed by this agency. Many times they told me things, trying to convince me that those are our landlord wishes. I had a private contact with him and he always denied those things. He even called the agency several times to cancel their decisions. They didn't do anything around the flat issues and charged my landlord for every small thing, to the point where he asked me to call him directly and omit the agency. He couldn't cancel the contract with them, while I was still renting... Btw. Trying to rent a flat with them took ages. Almost two months of checks and uncertainty. At the end they wanted to charge me for painting the walls and some decor fixing. I used a dispute option with my deposit protection company and I received my money back. During this time the agency called me and threatened with additional costs. I would advise landlords to check how things are, directly with their tenants.

Having just sold my property through Mishon Mackay, Kemptown, I can only sing their praises.Josh handled the listing, viewings and sale with enthusiasm, professionalism and true warmth and openness. Josh is a massive asset to the company, and his colleagues are just wonderful too.Josh listens, he gives great feedback and kept me informed all the way. Selling through the pandemic has been daunting, but this was all handled so well by Mishon Mackay. What a fabulous team they are.I have to say, they were not the cheapest, I had other quotes, from other agents. But Mishon Mackay were the ones that filled me with the most confidence and were always available for doing the viewings etc. In my opinion, you get what you pay for. These guys are the best!Selling a home is stressful, but Mishon Mackay really eased the stress. They went beyond the call of duty, and delivered a sale smoothly, quickly and very professionally. I cannot recommend them highly enough; warm, friendly, informative and they get the job done.... well!

House was on the market some some time with very little happening. I tried three other estate agents with no joy.I approached Holly Burt- within days there were viewings and the house sold, quickly.
