I would highly recommend Damien & his team

I cannot praise Damien and his team highly enough. This should have been a quick easy sale, but there was a distinct lack of communication from the solicitor at the bottom of our chain. Despite this Damien and his team kept us informed of any new developments and chased the solicitor to push our sale to exchange. working late and starting early in order to get this resolved. I would highly recommend them if you are looking to buy or sell a property.

Appallingly dirty, unsafe and mouldy accommodation

My daughter's housemates gained keys to their uni house two weeks ago to find it covered in black mould, fire and carbon monoxide alarms not working, fire extingishers out of date, disgustingly dirty - no cleaning at all! Keys, locks, doors bell missing and broken everything. Two weeks later, and having escalated to senior mgmt, and still no confirmation that these items have been addressed and no new move-in date.Shockingly, unprofessional and incompetent

Mishon Mackay excellent service in a complex situation

Mishon Mackay provided an excellent service to facilitate our rather non standard purchase of our new home. Due to probate delays they enabled us to be able to rent the house for a short period then purchase when it became possible. Their team was swift acting and efficient when it counted, enabling short deadlines to be met. Good experience from a friendly local agent!

Mishon Mackay were the selling agent for our recent property purchase in Hurstpierpoint. Beth was excellent, very engaging, knowledgeable and was keen to help us find the right home in the village. She was friendly and helpful and helped us get the deal over the line. On all the occasions we have dealt with Mishon Mackay they were extremely helpful and able to provide the answers we needed. However there were several occasions where we were unable to contact them by phone or there was a slow response by email. We appreciate that this is probably due to the volume of transactions at the moment but thought it was important to flag.

Shocking service provided

Shocking service provided. Complete lack of communication. They promise to email by a certain time and never do. Have not received keys ahead of moving in date. Lost the deposit and first months rent I sent to them. They can’t be bothered to call or email back. Do not have keys or information about the property I am moving into in a days time - looking like I will be left without keys ahead of move in date.

Excellent!

From the moment my property was first valued through every step of the sales process, I have found Mishon Mackay to be nothing less than excellent and professional. I originally dealt with Chelsea and then Drew in the Preston Park office and both were extremely courteous, efficient, calm and reliable; especially during Covid-19 and also when my buyer's chain collapsed twice. Unfortunately, there are one or two other aggressive agents who are trying to make their mark on the Brighton scene who give the industry a bad name but they are in complete contrast to Mishon Mackay who I would have no hesitation in recommending or using again. In fact, this is the second time I have used them after selling with the Seven Dials team three years ago who again were all very professional. Fantastic service all round.

We recently bought a flat through Mishon Mackay (Hove branch) and we had a very positive experience dealing with them. We initially dealt with Thomas Gannaway on the sale, and he was very helpful and responsive. The sale was finally closed with the help of a lot of work up and down the chain by Sarah McCarthy. Not only did Sarah have to deal with the problems presented by the Covid19 lock-down, but she also had to deal with a very late price renegotiation request from our buyers, and she did an excellent job.

Excellent trustworthy Estate Agents who went above and beyond.

We live in the USA and were selling my parents house in Brighton. We had only fifteen minutes to meet with Chris P initially when we were deciding whether to put it on. the market or not. We were struck by his professionalism and the feeling that he would do the best job for us that he could. He met all deadlines in sending us things and was both easy to get hold of and responsive. We also had some dealings with Tom who was also very good. In the present Covid-19 chaos, Chris was absolutely superb and did everything he could to ensure that the sale went through. We cannot recommend him and the firm more highly.

Absolutely delighted with the service provided by Mishon Mackay Kemp Town branch in selling my late Mother's house: Branch manager Alexandra was very helpful and knowledgeable in advising us on putting the property on the market and the assigned Sales Negotiator Josh Pennycott was superb throughout. Always friendly and helpful in manner, Josh was really good at keeping us informed on key developments, advising us on how to respond and liaising with all of the other parties involved. At all times, he was calm, positive, resourceful and well-informed; he was also very quick to respond to queries and completely reliable in following up and reporting back. It's hard to imagine how anyone could have done better and we are very grateful for what he achieved for us.

I've been tenant with Mishon Mackay agency almost 3 years now.On the beginning I wasn't very pleased. They had some communications problems, but this year is excellent.Jordan is always so polite and response for my emails in express time. One time he called me just to say thank you that he could pop in to my flat when I wasn't there. It was really nice of him. Lately I had many maintenance problems. I'm working 9-5 so I wasn't there when plumber come in. I messaged plumber for the update...no response, so I e-mailed Jordan. In a hour all my questions were answered.I moved many times using variety of agencies. So far this agency suits me the most. Thank you!
