Fantastic services from the entire team for the sale of my flat, and special thanks to Damien and Glenn who looked after the sale all the way through.From the initial meeting for valuation, Damien has really impressed us with his attention to details, and he worked very hard to understand our requirement and situation.We originally opted to have two agents representing our sale, as we thought that this would generate more viewings and attention from the market. But Damien’s team worked so much faster and harder, and communication with his team was much more efficient and easy. By the time the other agent sent us over the draft sales particular, Damien’s team already had conducted several viewings and offer negotiation had already started. This proved to us that we only needed one good agent, and we asked them to be our sole agent.As and when we encountered obstacles, Damien’s team offered great support, as well as providing straightforward and open talk/ advice to both ourselves and the buyer, to be able to move forward with the sale.Whilst maintaining their professional and courteous attitude, they also provided very personal and tailed services. I am very happy I have decided to go with them for the sale, and I would highly recommend using them to anyone who need to sell their place!

I can highly recommend Chelsea at the Preston Park office. We had a bit of a roller coaster experience of selling our flat, so I feel that I experienced the two extremes of estate agents. We were badly let down by the first company we went on the market with, but I consider ourselves so lucky to have found Chelsea. She made sure we knew what was happening at all stages, and her calm and professionalism were really reassuring at the most stressful of times. She has been an absolute pleasure to deal with, and definitely went above and beyond in trying to keep me sane throughout! Absolutely excellent service. Thanks so much Chelsea!!

After moving into a property we unfortunately had several maintenance issue left from previous tenants. Maria was on hand to assist with resolving the issue in its entirety. I cannot speak highly enough of these guys. Colin is an absolute star from the Hurst Office. We bought our next property through Mishon but he also worked exhaustively to move on the sale of our previous property to close the deal with our agent(who was not Mishon). We brought our last house through Mishon 19 years ago and brought our next house through them too. I do not say lightly that this company is the one to use. Polite, professional, friendly and go way over and above. Dan (you are not forgotten) who also stepped up to advise and assist in getting this deal closed. We've recently been fortunate enough to have Mishon Mackay helping with the sale of our house in Rottingdean, and our ongoing search for a new property. In particular the support of Jacob Twiselton has stood out as one of our very best experiences dealing with an estate agent. There was a long chain to be managed before our sale could go through, and several unexpected issues which came up, and Jacob went above and beyond to ensure all was resolved with good time, always with the utmost friendliness and courtesy. He was communicative, professional, incredibly helpful and I feel safe in saying that, were it not for everything he did, exchange would at the very least have been badly delayed, or - much worse - not happened at all. He, and the whole team, have been an absolute pleasure to deal with and we won't hesitate in working with them again.

1st time buyer and overall I’ve had a really good experience from the team at MM.Thom worked tirelessly on one property I attempted to buy, and now Alex has been equally efficient, in obtaining the one I’ve since gone on to purchase.And I’m throughly greatful, during which has been a daunting process.I wanted to give 5 stars, but unfortunately having spent a considerable amount of time trying to buy one property, the downfall was an issue over commercial attachment.Unbeknownst to me, this makes it near impossible to get a mortgage. Had I been aware of this issue, I really wouldn’t have invested the energy and money it has cost. Being naive to property purchasing, I would have assumed estate agents have a responsibility to inform potential buyers. Maybe I’m expecting too much.Still.. it has all worked out and I’m thankful.

Horrible experience!

This company is one of the worst letting agencies I have ever used. When we moved in to our furnished student house 3 out of the 5 bedrooms where missing beds, the house had not been cleaned at all, it stank of cigarettes, they're was dirt all of the floor. One of the rooms had clearly been used as some kind of green room as there was soil and dirt everywhere condensation coating the windows, the washing machine and sink where all backed up. While living there the agents themselves were not helpful unless they where taking your money. They let scaffolders into the house without our knowledge or consent and made living horrendous. When we moved out they took over a grand from our deposit for "cleaning" even though we left the house in a better state than we got it! And wear and tear that had been left by previous tenants. Overall an awful experience and would not recommend anyone using their services.

I have been a landlord with Mishon Mackay, Hove branch for over 10years. It is their people and exceptional service that make the remarkable difference between Real Estate Agencies. Mishon Mackay, Hove are professional, thorough, responsive and efficient to both myself and my long term tenant (8+years). All the staff that I have dealt with from the initial purchase to rental are genuinely passionate about and dedicated to, people and property; ensuring the best outcomes for all parties. The contractors/suppliers they use are excellent and productive too. Most recently I have had the pleasure of dealing with Amie Guirey, a likeable, resourceful and intelligent Property Manager. She is truly an asset to Mishon Mackay, having resolved all issues with this property promptly and actually 'thinking' about situations to not only resolve them but to sort it out properly the first time, thus ensuring it never happens again. I have been most impressed. I, and my tenant are very happy and both are important. As a landlord, you need long term tenants. I have been a landlord for many years with property in different regions and to date, Mishon Mackay have truly excelled compared to the other Real Estate Companies, and all done remotely as I reside overseas. Highly recommend. Amie is a delight to work with.

I just wanted to share our experience of buying a house earlier this year with Mishon Mackay. As is always the case with selling and buying houses, the process wasn't straightforward and there were unexpected issues that cropped up along the way, especially as we neared exchange - Having previously moved a handful of times, I can honestly say that this was the most stressful chain yet and were it not for the efforts of the Mishon Mackay team, especially Sarah McCarthy, I'm not sure we'd have made it. But we did and as a family we are genuinely so grateful to the whole Hove office for helping us move in to our dream home. From the first viewing of the house, through the negotiations handled professionally and transparently by Matthew and Steve and then towards exchange and completion, with the constant support of Sarah, the team gave a consistently first class service. Just wanted to say how amazing Mishon Mackay where with finding my Mum a beautiful flat. They where so kind and helpful with every step of the process, Chris Cottrell was especially on the ball and made sure we had all the support we needed. My mums not very computer savvy and they ensured it was as easily as possible for her. I felt I could call at any time to ask questions and nothing was too much trouble for him, he even managed to get a better price than the original asking price for us! We originally agreed to sell our property and had an offer accepted on another property on the 26th May this year. We have finally exchanged today 7th November. Five months ago I walked into Mishons office in Portslade and told them that I had always hated Estate Agents. My previous experience with estate agents over in East Sussex was spectacularly horrible. Glen and Josh at Mishon Mackay Portslade have totally and single handedly redeemed that. Nothing that has gone wrong in the last five months has been their fault (or ours) and they have done everything they could have done to help us through this. Firstly they got an excellent price for our property and then helped us through our vendor pulling out and one of our buyer's chain pulling out. Lastly they helped us through the horrors of solicitors incompetence. We had handed our solicitors all the deeds and documents related to our property five months ago and last week, just before exchange they found that there was no reference to the second floor on the lease documents. We are selling a maisonette (what legal person does not understand that a maisonette has more than one floor?) and this relates to a conversion done in the 1960's and a property that has been sold half a dozen times since then, one referred to on the deeds as a 1st and 2nd floor flat. Glen and Josh at Mishon Portslade helped keep us sane through all this. I absolutely and without hesitation recommend them.
