Excellent friendly and professional service

My experience of using Mishon Mackay Brighton to sell my property in central Brighton was very positive. The team were friendly and professional and provided a very personal service. In spite of several setbacks and delays they did a great job of seeing the sale through to the end. As a result of the effort they put in, the whole process was a lot less stressful for me than it might have otherwise been. I am very grateful to Thomas and Chris, who are clearly both extremely experienced.

They do not care about students at all…

They do not care about students at all and treated us badly. We ended up doing their work for them as they never update or keep track of what’s going on . Various times they have been rude on the phone to us and never seem to resolve the situation , leaving us frustrated over basic communication. We arrived at the house when it was apparently professionally cleaned (which it wasn’t), and now we’re leaving they’re charging us extortionate prices for the house to be cleaned . Students be aware to document and photograph every little aspect because if you don’t, they will charge and use it against you.

Two thumbs up for Brighton branch

I found everyone at the Brighton branch to be very professional, friendly and helpful throughout the entire process, particularly Tom who has been our main contact in selling our flat. The pictures and listing of our property were both excellent, and they found a suitable buyer and agreed our sale within a couple of weeks. The support post sale was also superb and kept me sane through the process of waiting for exchange. Unlike other agents we have dealt with we were able to consistently deal with one key contact which was really a positive from our perspective. I would definitely recommend based on our experience.

Tina and the team at Mishon Mackay Rottingdean were the vendor's selling Estate Agents for our recent house purchase in Ovingdean and acted thoroughly efficiently and professionally. They made us feel like they were working for us as well to achieve our aims and timescales. Tina went beyond the call of their duty in liaisons with others pushing for quick valuations and conveyancing services. Probably the worst rental agents in Brighton

I cannot even begin to describe all of the rental issues with this company; but here are a few:- left me without a working toilet for 2 weeks- left me without a working boiler for over 2 weeks- when I moved in there was a huge leak from the bathroom into the kitchen and NONE of the appliances worked. The front lawn was strewn with rubbish. Their response was that it was not urgent and that they don't check appliances when a new person moves in. Yet I got a 3 page letter when I moved in citing a long list of reasons why I could be fined £120 them. The letter also stated that when I move out the chimney needs to be swept and the garden left in good order, yet neither of these were done for me when I moved in.- Recently my heating didn't work so I reported it. This was listed as "not urgent and can take up to 28 days to send someone out".I have caught them out lying many times as they contradicted themselves about what the property owner was saying.When the time came to move out, I read up on my rights and I knew that after 5 years they could not charge me to paint the home (which wasn't done when I moved in), but they still tried. They also tried to charge me for 2 extra weeks as they thought that I would remember my moving date. I did, as it was Sept 11th, which was an apt date to move in to that awful place - so I did remember. Extremely dishonest and shady.

Mishon Mackay don’t go anywhere else!

What can I say! But Excellent! Professional! Efficient! And Caring! That is Mishon Mackay! Two years of renting a property from them and they went above and beyond to make sure that my moving in and moving out was as stress free as possible. Anytime things needed fixing a dedicated trustworthy maintenance team carried out the works without me even being home. I cannot than Jordan enough for her hard work in dealing with everything with such understanding efficiency and empathy. Likewise the rest of the rental team Maria, Mia, Louis and Jay. Whenever I rang or just popped into the office nothing was too much for them. I highly recommend them and have to friends who also rate them as amazing compared to the other Real Estates in Brighton. If you want a stress free rental it is Mishon Mackay! For honesty, reliability and reassurance, as both landlords and tenants wellbeing and their homes are paramount to their success!
