GoogleThe worst letting agency I ever had to deal. They gave me the flat very dirty, took me 2 days to clean it. At the end of tenacy I left the house cleaned out of respect for landlady who was woderful, but this shameless agency knock off £96 from my bond for cleaning....what a joke? Which cleaning? I asked to see the cleaning bill..of course I never received it, and they were forced to give me the bond back in full 🤣🤣
Even 1 star is too much for them....the only thing they want is to eat money....especially if you are a student and no power to defend yourself

These are just few examples of how they provide me the house and they refused to clean it and told me you can leave it like that when you left and they didn't cancel the agreement.at the end of the tenancy they took 1/5 of my deposit as cleaning cost which was absolutely unacceptable but I paid to just cut my contact with them. Not only happened to me , also three other my friends had the same experience. GoogleABSOLUTELY DISGUSTED with this company, wanted to view a property and I was only available on the weekend due to not being able to finish work till 5:30. They told me they can’t do a 6 showing on the weekday due to no one basically wanting to do it. Refused also to do weekend viewing even though they are open on the weekends till 1pm!!!
Potentially missed out on a propert because of their unprofessionalism! If you cba doing your Job then just say that! Instead of making ridiculous excuses.NegativeProfessionalism

GoogleI absolutely love my new property but the absolutely worst feature is having to deal with rude, patronising and sheer mean staff at whitegates huddersfield. Their behaviour is really strange towards me and really off. I have never in my life ever been treated like this as I am a good tenant, my previous landlord being on very good terms with him for instance. Had disgraceful attitude to a boiler that they will not fix so having to tell kirklees council to complain about them Further to the response from whitegates I hope people will make their own minds up about how real or relevant my complaints are/were, and although I am still having problems with the boiler it isn't fixed yet. It still stands that I feel the house is beautiful and hope to live here with as little contact with whitegates as possible so that I can enjoy my tenancy here.

GoogleA slightly mixed experience: absolutely first class and very professional from the outset- in what was a learning curve for me- that honesty was appreciated by Whitegates! This included the gentleman from Whitegates negotiating with the landlord/lady to leave some of the furniture in the property, repainting etc. all of which which was really appreciated including top class communication and updates at every stage. The second part was a little disappointing -once all was signed-from a rather curt and slightly abrupt member of the team:.I called to the shop/office-masked up- to collect the keys and was told to wait outside for about five minutes in the freezing cold- and then just handed the keys with no instuctions where or how anything worked or was in a 250 year old property including the bolier in the loft in outside barn. Thanks to the older gent in the team who knew the property and arranged to meet me there a few days later. Redeemed! Thanks for sorting.!

I met Liam as I had a workshop to rent out. The meeting was very positive & he took a key from me. I also discussed with him 5 other residential properties to rent out, with a view to Whitegates maybe taking them on. I left it 4 weeks, then I contacted him to see if he had any update. No response. Emailed again. No response. Called Whitegates office, no return call, called again - this time the chap I spoke to said they’d get him to call me back, only he never even asked who was calling. The customer service is absolutely atrocious. I wasn’t expecting miracles just an update. I will be sticking with Oxley properties for my residential properties- they respond within ten minutes. I have now requested my key to be returned, we’ll see how that goes! I may be updating this. ** well within 2 hours of this review I get a reply so will keep you posted!
