GoogleI live in Thailand, and recently put my house (in Huddersfield) up for sale with Whitegates, Huddersfield who are proving they have the capability of providing fantastic customer service / support. Whatever the request (change the locks after the tenant left, etc.) they are willing and able to accommodate the simplest / complex of tasks - really on the ball. The Whitegates Team provide prompt responses to queries and are quick to provide updates. IMO this is what is required when selling a house remotely and currently the Whitegates Team are meeting all my expectations. Excellent supportive team. They are going above and beyond to get my property sold.

GoogleHad me go to view a house i wouldn't ever had got asked if they accepted dss then they tell me no sorry afterwards that they said they did then all of a sudden didn't want to work on their communication

GoogleIf you could put 0 stars I would. Service is very poor. When we cancelled our agreement they tried to charge a very high fee. We had nothing agreed but they took the tenants rent as payment. No communication at all. If you are thinking about getting them to manage DONT.

GoogleI had a problem with heating at my house. I contacted Whitegates to repair it. They didn’t waste any time in doing so and am so grateful for the speed and repair completion. One less thing to worry about running up to Xmas. Much appreciated x

GoogleThe team at Whitegates Lettings in Huddersfield have been fantastic. They take the time to understand your individual requirements. The staff have been extremely helpful, friendly, and seemed really happy to help out whenever possible. Whitegates have been a breath of fresh air from the experience I had with my last agency, I would highly recommend and use your services again. Renting with them you will get berated and disrespected especially by Tracey the manager. Leaving you won’t get your deposit back and will be charged for small things that were there before you moved in. DO NOT GO with this agency. If you’re a student you’re better off with another agency of student accommodation.

GoogleThey don't even deserve 1*. They are the worst agency ever, don't ever go to them in any cases. Me and my boyfriend were looking for a house for next year and we found one online. We saw that it is throughout Whitegates so we called them and arranged a viewing for next day. We fell in love with the house but they told us that the landlord wants us to move now or he can't promise to keep the house for us till September. Somehow the agency "convinced" him to keep the house for us and they told us we need to pay £250 administration fee to keep the house for us. After we paid the money they told us that the last thing we need to do is to fill in an application form and to submit it, but the form was for another letting agency. The application form was ridiculous. We filled it in but all the time after we submitted it, they wanted from us new information and things that we need to provide them. After two-three weeks I got a call from Whitegates telling me that my form was declined and we lose the house and that they will pit it back on the market. I asked them if we'll get our money back and they said that it's nonrefundable. So now we lost £250, our time and we don't have a property where to live. Don't you ever go to them.
