GoogleAwful company, always late to viewings very rude on the phone. They say things then they say they didn’t say it even though we had it recorded funny huh, they deny everything, they’re so rude, they turned up 25mins late to a viewing and said do t rush over so we didn’t, we arrived a few minutes after the time and they had gone we called them and said oh he’s gone to another viewing.. and they said they didn’t say don’t rush, just complete liars.

YellExcellent service. On top of their game.
Used Whitegates to help get a property of mine rented out. The found the tenant, did the checks, got all references etc, arranged bond, showed the tenants around. Made it easy for me as the landlord. Would definitely use again.

GoogleIf you are student, you will be expected to pay a lot of money upfront (usually 6 months). Update: Despite it is advertised as "student house", my property was missing many basic inventory such as proper bed, curtain and even washing machine. They also try to charge as much as possible (the deposit) for the cleaning service after you moved out. As a former student, I advise by my heart to all ya student to stay away from this agent.

YellBullying and intimidation
The agency is run by mean girls, you will not get your deposit back for 3 months+ they lack empathy and understanding. The flats are mouldy and any repairs you wish to get done be prepared to wait till the end of your tenancy when they fix it for someone new. Good luck

GoogleNever use whitegates to look for a property . Staff are only nice when taking your deposit .Do not put your hope in them. No accountability to anything wrong to them.
As you withdrew your application you will not receive your holding deposit back and you were advised of this, furthermore you would not have passed our references due to misleading information thus we disregard this review as it is not a representation of what has happened. Our suggestion would be to be honest and transparent when you next look for a rental property. As always, best wishes

GoogleWould not recommend this branch for renting a property from. Also being a landlord, I would be very concerned at their inability to provide information on and carry out maintenance jobs that need attention to keep the property in a good state of repair.

GoogleExcellent service within my tenancy agreement, professional and friendly staff, always quick response on any questions. All the conditions promised were clearly defined on the agreement and kept during the whole contract. I fully recommend to anyone and Whitegates would be my choice again.
