Worst estate agent in Horsham town if you are looking for a professional estate agent stay away from these clowns, they have no shame. We have dealt with Guy his conduct has been a total disaster, Guy did not deliver what was promised and the communication was really poor, very pushy any shifty tactic, any excuses to try to earn a bit of commission, I never felt that the customer interest was ever put first! Appalling behaviour and somewhat shifty. In future I would engage with a professional estate agent that puts client’s interest first not Vice Versa

Our sincere thanks to Jacob Rafferty, Scott Covey and their entire team for the first-class service they provided when buying our first home. We were kept updated throughout and the whole team were always available to answer any questions you had about the general process. As first-time buyers, it can be slightly overwhelming at times and as such we are extremely happy that we ending up buying through a professional, reachable and local estate agent. I've never had a good experience when Mansell McTaggart are involved

Once again Mansell McTaggart have proved themselves to be a poor estate agent. Due to their lack of diligence with checking that finances were fully in place, our house move, which was a relocation for us, have been completely upended at the last minute. I have also dealt with them in the past and have never had a good experience, they don't tell the truth, don't do their job properly and I would recommend that you don't use them. Use someone else.

Rented from Mansell McTaggert. We reported mold nothing done about it, they were not interested. We moved out and paid for a professional cleaning service £330 but they said it was not good enough and and wanted to bring in there own cleaning service and deduct from the deposit. They sent photos two weeks after moving out pointing out stuff that wasn’t even on the exit inspection report. Avoid really unscrupulous people.

Poor sales progression

Initially all went well. Great photos and floor plan attracted people quickly via Rightmove. But after agreeing a sale, the sales progression process was poor and frustrating. I felt it was more about “managing expectations” rather than prioritising and communication. But we got there in the end but can’t help feeling that was mainly due to other people’s efforts.

From start to finish Guy and his team were absolutely fabulous. Guy was honest from the outset, unlike other companies who were completely unrealistic and clearly only out to make money. We were kept informed by various methods and knew where we were through every stage. Our solicitors were shocking and the team at Mansell McTaggart helped us through a really rough patch, if it wasn't for them we wouldn't have exchanged. Jacob mainly dealt with us post sale and we cannot fault his professionalism. Saying this, when Jacob was busy the other team members always picked up and assisted where they could. Having met a few local agents to discuss selling our house, we unanimously chose to sell through Mansell McTaggart because of their professionalism and knowledge of the market. The whole team came to look at our house, so they were aware of what they were selling first hand, which proved invaluable. Nothing was too much trouble and it didn't matter which member of the team you spoke to, all were conversant with the latest developments. When our chain got into difficulty, Guy was quick to reassure and even went above and beyond to get everything back on track rather than relying on agents to do that further down the chain. With the ever present temptation to use a faceless online agent to save on commission, we never once questioned our decision to use Mansell McTaggart as their service never faltered and they made the stressful process of moving a lot less angst ridden. For that I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

I chose to deal with Guy and his team based on his professionalism and friendly approach. Guy gives you the impression right from the start that he is on your level and shows compassion and respect regardless of whether you’re selling at the low end of the market like myself or several million. I had a great experience with the whole team at Mansell McTaggart but Guy was always there supporting me and his team throughout the journey. Guy wanted to help me and my family first and foremost whilst of course looking out for his business interests but that never seemed more than his secondary concern, the customer was always put first. In what was and remains a difficult post Brexit market, a buyer was soon found for my house at a fair price. Communications were excellent before, during and after the sale. I have come across many people in my professional career and Guy is simply a top man who will do everything for you he possibly can. If only others took a leaf from his book the estate agent business would have a far better image. Highly and unhesitatingly recommended to all.
