From start to finish Guy and his team were absolutely fabulous. Guy was honest from the outset, unlike other companies who were completely unrealistic and clearly only out to make money. We were kept informed by various methods and knew where we were through every stage. Our solicitors were shocking and the team at Mansell McTaggart helped us through a really rough patch, if it wasn't for them we wouldn't have exchanged. Jacob mainly dealt with us post sale and we cannot fault his professionalism. Saying this, when Jacob was busy the other team members always picked up and assisted where they could. If you're having any doubts choosing an estate agent you won't be let down by these guys! Reliable, very reasonably priced and always go the extra mile.

Having met a few local agents to discuss selling our house, we unanimously chose to sell through Mansell McTaggart because of their professionalism and knowledge of the market. The whole team came to look at our house, so they were aware of what they were selling first hand, which proved invaluable. Nothing was too much trouble and it didn't matter which member of the team you spoke to, all were conversant with the latest developments. When our chain got into difficulty, Guy was quick to reassure and even went above and beyond to get everything back on track rather than relying on agents to do that further down the chain. With the ever present temptation to use a faceless online agent to save on commission, we never once questioned our decision to use Mansell McTaggart as their service never faltered and they made the stressful process of moving a lot less angst ridden. For that I would have absolutely no hesitation in recommending them.

I chose to deal with Guy and his team based on his professionalism and friendly approach. Guy gives you the impression right from the start that he is on your level and shows compassion and respect regardless of whether you’re selling at the low end of the market like myself or several million. I had a great experience with the whole team at Mansell McTaggart but Guy was always there supporting me and his team throughout the journey. Guy wanted to help me and my family first and foremost whilst of course looking out for his business interests but that never seemed more than his secondary concern, the customer was always put first. In what was and remains a difficult post Brexit market, a buyer was soon found for my house at a fair price. Communications were excellent before, during and after the sale. I have come across many people in my professional career and Guy is simply a top man who will do everything for you he possibly can. If only others took a leaf from his book the estate agent business would have a far better image. Highly and unhesitatingly recommended to all.

After meeting with a number of agents it was clear that Mansell McTaggart were the ones prepared to go the extra mile to cover all our needs. The property was marketed to a high standard, even spotting features we took for granted. We accepted a great offer with a chain. Escalating complaint, timestamped offer mishandled

Just before the strict 10:00 deadline, I spoke directly with the agent handling offers. He confirmed there were no offers in the £290, £300k region. I then submitted a clear, chain-free offer of £295k, well above that range, and received confirmation of receipt by email. Despite this, the property was sold to someone else with no explanation, no timestamped evidence, and no transparency. I am now gathering evidence, including recorded calls, and will escalate this to The Property Ombudsman and Trading Standards to protect my rights and obstruct the sale until the matter is resolved. Buyers deserve fair treatment, not vague denials and procedural silence.

We have experienced exceptional customer service from Mansell McTaggart from start to finish. Their organisation was excellent and their communication was very consistent. Whenever I called and whoever I spoke to, they always knew who I am, what was happening and always had an answer. I want to mention Declan here, who worked closely with me throughout the process, I'm very impressed with his friendliness, professionalism, and dedication. A few things I am especially impressed with: all the agents bothered to meet me in the beginning in person and took the time to understand our circumstances and all the details of our property, they were very polite to our children and was genuinely enthusiastic about working for us. They clearly took the time to vet each potential buyer so there was no time wasting and we did not have that many viewings at all before a solid offer was made. They were very active at chasing progress and updates on all parties involved and clearly knew what was happening up and down the chain. Whilst it is very easy for any estate agent to seem very keen to work with you at the property valuation, I can honestly say Mansell McTaggart performed consistently at a high standard that was initially promised. I have no hesitation in recommending them at all.
