What a team Suzanne and Donna are, they kept me informed every week as to progress with the sale of my property. They chased the buyer, they chased their solicitor and mine, brilliant ! FacebookMe and my partner decided to buy our first house in January after saving for the last couple of years. We viewed multiple properties from different agents but just felt like a number and wasn't inspired by anything we had seen. I then signed up to the Richard Kendall's YouTube page because we enjoy looking at the internal videos and got a notification the next day with our dream house! We called to book a viewing ASAP and have been dealing with Elizabeth Cooke ever since! Liz was honest throughout and managed our expectations from the very beginning. We faced a couple of hurdles throughout and Liz was there to calm our nerves and offer support / advice. We feel that communication has been fantastic and would highly recommend Liz if you are looking to buy or sell a house. As first time buyers the whole process has been a breath of fresh air.

The process from booking a valuation right up until the completion has been very good, with polite, friendly and informative staff. Donna and Joanne have kept me updated every step of the way going that extra mile on several occasions when the process was going very slowly and needed an injection of pace from our side.

Amanda / Sophie @ Pontefract office was really good from start to finish. Advised and happily discussed the marketing and changing of photos and descriptions etc to what we wanted. They phoned all potential buyers and invited them to look at our property, they then Managed to achieve a lot of viewings and an acceptable offer within 3 weeks of going online. Amanda then managed the sale progression through to completion and responded to emails and calls all the time. Thank you.

Our negotiator was Karen Marijewko. Whilst the sale progressed we felt that we had to do too much chasing, given a fee of £3,000 +VAT. We would have expected to be light touch - but we were pressured into chasing solicitors. Their recommended solicitor was equally slow. Once it got to exchanged contracts things got better with Richard Kendall, but overall not the best experience.
We are sorry you have felt the need to leave us a 3* review following the service you received from our Wakefield office. Whilst we appreciate there were delays with the transaction following an agreed sale, this was very much down to the management company that all parties were relying on for the transaction to proceed. In order to help progress matters, we felt that it was essential for you to chase the management company for the information required by your purchasers’ solicitors. We are sorry that you felt this was a detrimental part of our service but do ask that we work with our clients to get matters to a satisfactory conclusion.We wish you all the very best for your onward purchase and should you wish to discuss this in further detail, please do not hesitate to contact our Wakefield office.

Richard Kendall were an excellent choice for our recent house sale. Sophie who works in the Pontefract office was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. There were a few hiccups along the way with solicitors as is to be expected. Sophie dealt with all my queries promptly and professionally. Had a great experience selling our rental property using Richard Kendall. Karen Marijewko was the senior property consultant at Wakefield branch and constantly updated us throughout the whole process. Once the property had sold Karen regularly communicated with us with sale progression and actively chased the solicitors for updates. I would definitely recommend Richard Kendall Estate agents and would use them again.
