Liz and Joanne - Wakefield branch Both Liz and Joanne kept me informed with my purchase every step of the way, they were polite and nurturing throughout which made the experience feel somewhat safe (after a previous sale falling through this was exactly the kind of treatment I needed!) Both Joanne and Liz were considerate, knowledgeable and helpful, they made what could have been a stressful time, pretty stress free, doing a lot of chasing on my behalf to ensure things ran smoothly. Thank you so much, if you were considering the Wakefield branch I would highly recommend!

EDIT - The truth is in countdown www.richardkendall.agency If you want to be fobbed off, verbally talked down to and even experience attempts of extortion all whilst trying to live in a house that you pay a lot of money each month for then Richard Kendall estate agents along with staff Carol Roger’s, Allanah Kelly, Isaac Brocklehurst along with landlords Zosimo and Anne Kathleen Vietes are exactly who you need. Slow and ignored repairs. House full of mould and damp. Report withheld. Move an adult son in which is allowed by the tenancy agreement and they start trying to extort you and only stop with a legal demand to stop. When house condition is so bad you demand rectification they issue a retaliatory Section 21 notice. Now having to have property inspected by council and independent damp people. Then when trying to oblige their illegal section 21 they block you viewing other property. I am not a nut job I have rented for over 20 years in 5 properties (this is my sixth). I have never, ever experienced such malpractice by an agent as I am now. What’s worse is they have got themselves in a position where they won’t reach out for remedy and are digging the hole deeper and deeper. Still waiting on the handy man Allanah. Bedroom 2 now the living room it’s so bad and no lounge. But. I will keep paying the rent

Confidence, courtesy and professional service.

I had every confidence in dealing with Mandy at Kendall’s estate agents having previously dealt with her in the past. Although it was not a straightforward transaction Mandy was there to mediate between myself and the vendors. There was trust and consideration on both sides and credit a lot of this to Mandy’s expertise. All the staff I have dealt with at Kendall’s have been very efficient and courteous. A family run firm with a personal touch. Highly recommend their professional and personal service.

DO NOT RENT FROM RICHARD KENDAL Just had £520 taken from my deposit after renting 2 Hawthorne close in kirkhamgate for a year. Firstly as far as the landlord and that property is concerned avoid. My toilet kept blocking landlord came round twice with his jetwasher to unblock on the 3rd time I was told I had to pay for a plumber as it must have been me putting too much toilet paper down. In 42 years I’ve never had this problem before. My plumber advised me and sent Richard Kendal an email explaining it wasn’t me and that the drains were collapsing due to him jet washing them. I was also blamed for the mould on one external wall. For putting my furniture up against a wall?? So I moved it all and guess what still mouldy. Many more things. When moving out I’ve been charged £520 Untidy garden ( one picture zoomed in on the one thistle that I couldn’t get out of the front garden ) The grass in the back garden that was all cut but browning cause of the dry weather. Deemed untidy Unclean toilet 🤔 with the evidence .. a zoomed in picture of a closed toilet lid. ( which was clean may I add) but how can you see the toilet with the lid closed! So many things and Richard Kendal helped tha landlord by taking photos in a way that did not show a true representation of how I left the property. I tried to fight it throughly the deposit scheme but this would take weeks and I’ve got my mum on end of life care so need all my strength for her. But below is how I left the property. Yes there was a couple of scuff marks on the wall but nothing a lick of paint wouldn’t solve ( general wear and tear ) I’m house proud it was my home. Absolute con artists.

Richard Kendall would be my first choice for estate agents

Karen Marijewko at Richard Kendall has been fantastic during the purchase of our house. She kept in contact continuously with weekly updates on the phone and emails with any extra progress. I have been able to ask any questions in relation to our purchase and she has helped in any way she can. Starting from our viewings all the way through to exchanging and completion, we have been really impressed and happy with the service from Richard Kendall and Karen in particular. If we need an estate agents in the future, Richard Kendall would be my first choice, cannot fault them at all!

Experience as a buyer

We have just purchased a house & Richard Kendal were the agent. Initial extreme disappointment with the very limited viewing time given & the rushed nature (also applicable to other viewings of different properties they were selling). That said afterwards once in the purchase process the service given by Karen Marijewko in particular has been excellent. Gave updates every week as promised & assisted with all elements of what turned into a complex purchase process for us. I only have experience as a buyer with this agent but if I were to market a property and Karen was acting on my behalf I would be very confident in her professionalism, ability to take instruction and importantly maintain an awareness of what’s going on & update me, which unfortunately is not the case with all agents.

Amazing service: Karen Marijewko @ Richard Kendall

We have recently had an offer accepted through Richard Kendall and I can't speak highly enough of the service that both the company as a whole and specifically Karen Marijewko, have provided. Although I own a home and have purchased properties a couple of times before, this is my first time taking a leading role in the process. I had a lot of questions and wasn't entirely sure of the process or etiquette, nor was I perhaps the best at understanding the crazy world of real estate, despite having watched every episode of Selling Sunset (including the reunion). Everyone at Richard Kendall is incredibly polite, lovely and patient but especially Karen Marijewko. It very much feels like Karen has gone out of her way to help me and my partner. She entertains my calls, ridiculous questions, misunderstandings and unnecessary episodes of panic with compassion, professionalism and sincerity. She is also incredibly fun to talk to and always makes me smile, putting me at ease. I can't speak highly enough of my experience so far.

Karen Marijewko was engaged as the communicating agent to me as a buyer. She has amazing professional 'WOW' work ethics. What's needed, On time, with Wisdom. I'm not the easiest person to please regarding professional conduct but Karen has done the company proud. Her work integrity is what I like most. If Karen says,"I'll call you back" be rest assured she will, with answers. I am a buyer not a seller, but she looked after me like a seller. House Letting Review

After using them previously for letting out my house and been impressed I used again to find a new tennant. Unfortunately this time the service level has gone hill dramatically. Had to continually chase for everything. No communication at all. Didn't return calls. Better not trust them either you are renting or a landlord. They are supposed to be a bridge of communication but the workers are just killing their time to get paid. Alice ducket got the permission from the landlady for us to install the Internet and now she said I Don't remember doing it and they with the landlord are trying to take my deposit money for installation the Internet wire.

I cannot speak highly enough of Richard Kendall. Going back to when I originally contacted them to arrange a viewing of a property I was interested in viewing, right through to the completion. The people working in the office have gone above and beyond, providing me with regular and ad hoc updates whenever I have requested them.
