Property management for rentals

The rentals/property management of Karl Tatler are utterly useless. Almost redundant in terms of what they offer (especially from taking their premium service). Mistakes drawing up contracts, useless in terms of communication or following up with requests that have been made for tenants/property checks etc. I wouldn’t recommend this service to anyone, they’ve cause more hassle and stress and resulted in the loss of thousands of pounds on my property directly due to their mismanagement.

She was the main person driving matters forward and her advice has been excellent. She has been friendly, patient and firm at the same time. The fact that it has taken me so long to leave this review has nothing to do with our dealings with Karl Tatler and everything to do with my own lack of organisation. We bought through Karl Tatler and were involved in what can only be described as the chain from hell. It was a diabolical six month process that involved a selection of truly awful estate agents, (including ours), useless solictors and endless delays. I want to single out Lucie Smith in particular as she was one of the only calm voices throughout the process. Lucie basically took it on herself to get the deal over the line, organising and cajoling the other agents and vendors to get it done. She did this with good humour and always kept us in the loop. If it wasn't for her, we may well have gone insane. If we ever move (which I'm sincerely hoping we do not have to endure again) we would use Karl Tatler in a heartbeat and that is down to Lucie, so thanks again!

Very poor experience. Don't be tempted by the higher valuation. We were oversold and they certainly underdelivered. A total lack of focus on sales progression and we walked away after the second sale fell through - a wasted 6+ months. Fortunately we had a much better experience with another local agent and completed in 9 weeks
