I'm a tenant in a property being sold by my landlord through Collinson Hall's sales team. Over the past year I have found communication to be extremely poor. Appointments to access the property have been cancelled last minute on several occasions. Viewings have been booked in but not confirmed with me (I've had to call to confirm and they seem surprised when I ask which of the offered times they have chosen), agents have arrived late to viewings or to unannounced viewings with lackluster apologies and excuses of being told someone should have rung me - they didn't. I've complained privately many times and received apologies but they now just seem meaningless as the same issues arise again and again. When my time is being wasted preparing for viewings that may or may not happen, and being left feeling disrespected as a tenant, I don't think I am being unfair by now choosing to make my displeasure public.

Due to the quirky nature of the property to be sold, I felt an individual approach to selling was required. Given their track record over many years, Collinson Hall seemed the most appropriate agent. I was not disappointed with the excellent service I received from firstly Rob's realistic valuation & marketing approach, through Mark & Michele's constant updates on viewings & progress to Ron overseeing it all. The team at Collinson Hall were always so accommodating and approachable. They never made me feel like a nuisance, asking to have 3rd and 4th viewings with my builder. They were a great "go between" for both solicitors and were extremely understanding when I needed information on pet ownership at the flat. Everyone I dealt with was professional and friendly. Pre-scheduled a viewing which was cancelled, after pleading with the agent to view as I travelled 3 hours they let me view I proposed the offer before arriving not wanting to waste time. Which by the way was 3 months in advance plus deposit. Already showed all relevant documents of income/ savings. Was false promises when I would be told the outcome Which after chasing multiple times was told rejected. Not sure if they treat all their potential tenants like this but this was a very bad experience and I would not recommend!
