We started searching for a property in September 2022. Because we had bought our current property with Collinson Hall, we approached them again. I started discussing house sale and purchase with John Sullivan. From that time on, John made a point of calling me every week, either with potential houses coming on the market, or just to check how things were going. I really appreciated this regular contact. Although we spoke to many different estate agents, John was by far the best at maintaining contact and I really appreciated his efforts.

I have just had amazing service from Holly Marshall-Clarke who is the property manager for a block of flats that Collinson Hall manage and in which I own a flat. Holly has only joined Collinson Hall for a short while but in that time she has been the most efficient property manager I have had the pleasure of working with. Holly replies instantly and is efficient to all and any requests made and is a breath of fresh air. I can recommend Collinson Hall and in particular Holly Marshall-Clarke.

Collinson Hall recently found tenants for our property in Hemel. Communication from Samantha and her team was excellent from the start and tenant was found and negotiated within a matter of days. Since moving in our statements and funds have arrived swiftly and the management team have helped our new tenants with anything needed. As an out of area investor it was important to us to use a company who ensured a hands off approach and Collinson Hall have done just this.

We turned to Collinson Hall for help finding a flat by pure chance. We had travelled to St Albans for a viewing arranged with another agency, only to be told that the viewing was cancelled. This was really annoying considering that we had travelled all the way from Dundee to St Albans for this. We contacted Collinson Hall after seeing one of their signs in the area, thinking that it was worth a shot. To our delight, they arranged a viewing for us within the hour. It is actually amazing how quickly they understood our requirements and how fast they managed to get things arranged, in contrast with other agencies, some of which continue to spam us with offers that are entirely different from what we told them we were looking for. The amazing staff at Collinson Hall turned what would have been a very expensive and basically useless trip into a quick and easy flat hunt. We liked the flat we were shown and we are currently going through the application process. We will hopefully soon be moving into our new home in St Albans and this is all thanks to Sam and Ron from Collinson Hall.

Great service from Collison Hall! Residential Lettings Manager Samantha has found us the best house to rent, accommodating all our needs including our kitten! This is a great start for our first settling in at St Albans, all things settled before we actually landed and all of us feel blessed and much appreciated for Samantha's line up, efficient, cheerful and accommodating! The post-service from Property Manager Cristina also amazed us, always quick and prompt response. Would definitely recommend Collison Hall for any leasing and letting issues.

Rob was really helpful to work with. We had our house up for sale for some time and we weren't getting the volume of interest we had first hoped for, especially in our area which is a very well sought after postcode. Rob then made contact as our new agent and took time to relook at our house, got to to know our plans and reintroduced some ideas. Within a couple of weeks we had a buyer and our solicitors went through with exchange and completion, which is next week. within 6 to 8 weeks from the offer. We were hoping for a little more in price but actually the offer we recieved was within market value. Rob is very straightforward in his approach and is very clear on implementing strategy to sell.

We sold our first house in 1985 with Collinson Hall & they were great! We have recently sold my husband's family home within them in St Albans and have been very pleased with how they presented the house for sale. It needs a lot of work, but they achieved an over the valuation price for it. John Sullivan dealt with the initial visit with great empathy, as a family member still resided at the property. All of the staff are lovely and very responsive and particularly Becky Railston who I have dealt with the most, nothing is too much trouble.

Having communicated with other estate agents, Collinson Hall were among a smaller group who were most reliable, quick to respond and well communicated. Becky was helpful in the negotiation stages, explaining how the process worked and making sure we arrived at a price that both the vendor and we were happy with. Alison (sales progressor) was pro-active in checking-in with us and ensured the issues that inevitably came up during process were resolved in a way that suited both the vendors and us. If I were to sell or look to buy again in the future I would have no concerns with Collinson Hall.

I cannot iterate enough what a fantastic service we received from all the team at Collinson Hall St. Albans. Right from the outset with Ron compiling the sales portfolio to actually selling our house at the full asking price within 2 weeks of listing, to Alison’s extremely professional sales progression, patience and drive to get the challenging and sometimes frustrating sale through to exchange and completion with continual updates and solicitor chasing, it took all the stress out of the whole moving process. Property rented out within day of listing on both occasions and the fully managed service provides total peace of mind given I'm working abroad and not local should there be any problems.
