Excellent service and communication for house purchase

We used Breckon & Breckon to buy a property in Marston, Oxford in 2017. Our agent was Ross Mabbutt throughout and we were very happy with his service and would definitely use Breckon & Breckon again. In particular, at various points when we needed to put questions to the sellers or arrange on site visits he communicated our requests very rapidly and got back to us soon, so this was not a cause of delays as can be in some house sales. I never had trouble getting hold of Ross or someone else from the office; on just one occasion when he was out of office his manager Matthew Heavens took my call and helped me set up a site visit with a contractor, so there was no delay. We also feel that our interests and those of the sellers were faithfully represented. In short, happy to recommend this agent and agency.

Matthew at Breckon & Breckon recently oversaw the sale of our property. He was knowledgeable, always advising us thoughtfully, never pre-emptive or trying to impose. House sale.

All I can say is 10 out of 10 for the Headington team. We knew our house sale would be a slow one as we live out in the sticks. However with the utmost support from Ross our main contact along with Matthew and Laura we agreed a sale at a relatively small discount. They offered great support from the on set and were totally professional but friendly too. Where some agents may have bullied us into a huge price reduction to sell fast they totally supported us and we achieved a great price. 100% recommendation, thank you so much guys! Helpful, prompt, clear and friendly.

I had excellent service from Breckon & Breckon, in particular Matthew Heavens and colleagues Ross, Laura, and Amy, and Jan the photographer. They were prompt with everything - returning calls, reporting interest in the property, producing draft brochure, and covering for each other's absence/leave etc. They were very clear about things like terms of service, timescales, asking price etc. The brochure they produced was excellent. and they were happy to include my amendments. They were also up-front in a friendly and clear way about things I needed to do to improve the property and increase its chances of selling - perhaps tricky messages for them to deliver but they did it very well. Overall I would definitely recommend them.

OUTSTANDING SERVICE

I believe Breckon & Breckon provide a far superior service to other estate agents in Headington. The staff are professional, experienced and knowledgeable. In particular James Rein the Assistant Manager provided me with an outstanding service during the sale of my late parents property. I was kept up to date with progress and never had to chase anything up. This made a difficult time less stressful. It was a breath of fresh air to receive such amazing customer service. Matthew the Manager and Laura were also very helpful. They are an exceptionally good team. An excellent, professional estate agent whom I would totally recommend

I put my house on the market with Breckon & Breckon as they had successfully sold a number of properties in the area. James was an excellent agent, always keeping me fully informed re viewings and supplying feedback. My house was sold at the asking price, which was considerably higher than I had anticipated, within 10 days of going on the market. Throughout the sale James kept me up-to-date on how things were progressing. In addition Breckon & Breckon were the agents I purchased my present house through. A very professional company
