I had a delightful and seamless…

I had a delightful and seamless experience with Breckon & Breckon. I am thrilled with the flat I'm currently renting! I found this company very easy to communicate with. The whole process of viewing the property, submitting an offer, and securing the flat was very straightforward. Side note: After picking up my keys from the Breckon & Breckon office, I went to my new flat and found that they had left little courtesy packages for me. There was toilet paper and toiletries in the bathroom, and a little kitchen kit with dish soap, a tea towel, etc. in the kitchen. I found this detail very kind and welcoming. I have never experienced a letting company this thoughtful! My letting agent, Charlotte, was fantastic! She was professional and helpful. She was understanding and made everything about the rental process and the specific property easy to understand. I am very grateful to her and could not be happier with the lovely flat in which I am now living.

Matt and his Team were excellent in supporting us. Breckon & Breckon managed the sale of our house, the team were fast and reponsive throughout the process. The photos and brochure produced were excellent and definitely contributed to a high level of interest and fast sale. The Team did well to organise viewing around our schedule, minimising disruption and also allowing us to prepare well for viewings. We also made our onward purchse with Breckon, the entire Team worked hard to understand our requirments and preferences as a buyer and ensured we were alerted to properties of interest as soon as they came to the market. This was particularly valuable as we were challange in finding a suitable property which met our requirments and allowed us to complete the chain. As with all house purchases, there were some complexities along the way. Matt and the team were very quick to support finding solutions and ensuring continued progress. Importantly they were very mindful of the stress which can arise during the process, we always felt like the Breckon Team were focused on what is best for us. Illegally charging for cleaning

We are currently in a dispute over a minute fraction of our deposit, as Breckon and Breckon has charged us for cleaning despite the move in condition and move out condition being near identical. When we asked (several times over several days) for evidence that the cleaning was actually required to return it to the move-in standard, they provided us with a falsified invoice. We discovered it was false based on the metadata edit history, and the letting agent admitted in an email after this that it had in fact just been edited to change what the invoice said.

Incompetent.

As a Waterside resident I am disappointed by the inaction of B & B to rectify their mistake in placing a large and totally inappropriate sized bike shed slap bang in front of our houses. The ugliest eyesore imaginable. I, and many other residents have repeatedly asked for it to be moved to an alternative location. It is acknowledged that the size is incorrect for this site…..four months in and we are still being told by this company that the “case is in hand”. If this is a measure of their competence I strongly suggest you DON’T entrust this company to act on your behalf in something as complex as a house sale or rental.
