Breckon & Breckon is an independent firm of Estate Agents established in 1947 and now operating from a network of seven offices in the county of Oxfordshire. We are property professionals with many years of experience in the local market. Whilst we are constantly recommended by many firms of solicitors, high street banks and other institutions, we are very proud of the fact that the majority of our new business comes from the personal recommendations of past clients. With the excellent help of Ashleigh, we found the perfect rental property located on the outskirts of oxford. The rental process was handled very professionally, in a timely manner. Property manager on holiday during check out. We’re just in the process of ending our tenancy and I thought it worth a second review because of how useless they have been, again. They never return phonecalls or messages. It takes weeks or even months to get anything fixed on the property. It took 3 months to get the double glazing fixed in the middle of winter. When we phoned about an issue with our back door lock we were threatened with a £99 lock smith charge if it was in any way our fault (we fixed the damaged key ourselves for £2.50 and then called them out for the lock issues). The process is so slow that we just bought the replacement blind for our sons room rather than wait any longer for Breckon (they took 2 weeks and we were being woken up at dawn every day). The main property manager went on holiday during the week of our check out with no one else being provided as a replacement contact and adding unnecessary delays to the return of our deposit.
