I just came back from a viewing with the estate agent Wesley Brown, a Branch Manager from Bairstow Eves Collier Row. The experience was distressing and utterly appalling. As soon as we arrived at 3:23pm, for a 3:20pm viewing, before we could even apologise for the short delay, we were rudely told that the agent was going to leave, and he had called us many times, and he barked at us that he had been calling and emailing all day long. We were thrown off by his attitude, and had two children with us, but he proceeded rudely “you should learn to answer your calls”. We were completely on the backfoot, but calmly told him we had called the office back immediately, the only number we have access to, and he snapped back rudely that “Well, I’m here aren’t I. Not there.” We tried to move on, and he continued to make incredibly condescending comments to me, like when I asked him if we should start looking around or should we wait for him, he retorted “I’m waiting for your kids to come in first.” At that point, my wife just calmly asked him whether there was an issue, and repeated that we had called to confirm, and we were sorry for being 5 minutes late. To which, he clearly didn’t believe us, and aggressively started came upto wife and started snapping at her for proof saying “What time? What time was the calls? Check your phone? It should be on your phone if you called. Check it now.” It was the most humiliating experience we have had, being made to feel like liars, and my wife was on the verge of tears. He felt mentally unstable, and was behaving this way in front of our two children under 5 years old, and our elderly grandmother. Honestly, based solely on Wesley, we would never consider buying the property, and this has completely tarnished our relationship with Bairstow Eves. We pray no one ever has to deal with this kind of humiliation, rude conduct and borderline aggressive behaviour.

AAA plus service provided by all at the Collier Row branch. They were the 2nd agent I signed up with to sell my property after being tied into another agent for 12 weeks before hand. My neighbours mum told me to go and see Danny at Bairstows! So I did by her recommendation, I just wish I had gone to them 1st! The service I received from day 1 was absolutely fabulous! Communication was spot on, calls were returned & emails were sent to keep me in the loop. The professional , but normal and no jargon down to earth approach was just great! The sale took longer than originally expected but at no fault of my agents, but they were there to offer support & guidance straight away, & throughout. We all know how buying & selling property is a total nightmare really , and I wasn’t the best at handling some of the most stressful parts of it but I just want to give a HUGE thanks to Dean, Danny, Wesley, Emma & Deborah....(hope I haven’t missed anyone out!) This branch of Bairstow Eves deserves a 5 star rating. We purchased a house this year over the course of 8 months and out of all the estate agents in Collier Row, Bairstow Eves has the most well equipped team who are professional, attentive, caring and easy to talk to. I want to thank Emma and Richard in particular who provided a excellent service and allowed us to move in to a house from start to end within 2 months of offer. Highly recommended!

We completed our sale with Bairstow Eves just under a month ago. From the moment I spoke to Emma to inquire about some viewings a few months ago I knew she was taking my needs/preferences into consideration when suggesting other properties. She is very approachable and will help in any way possible. From the moment we offered to completion she was available to help with it all, except on Tuesdays when she is off! She is amazing at her job and I would recommend her to anyone looking in Collier Row. Deborah was also great in chasing/communicating between our offer and completion. I was very impressed with Christine, Wesley and the team at Collier Row. Very helpful every step of the way. When we lost our first buyer they were proactive in getting more viewings so we could start the process again. We also used their team that handles all the legal work. The sale took 6 months as we had some issues with the property itself but Danny provided great communication along the whole purchase. I could imagine the sale would have been extremely stressful if Danny hadn't provided the support we needed. Sharon and Danny provided an amazing service. They were super helpful the whole way through. Sharon kept me updated on my purchase at all times. Any query I had was answered straight away via email/ phone.
