GoogleI've been working with Kings for almost 2 years now and they proved themselves to be at the top of their game. Always helpful when there's any issue with the property, quick to answer any question. The application process couldn't be more intuitive and only takes a couple of days to sort out. GoogleAs estate agents go, these lot are by far the worst. It took several weeks to receive our deposit back (due to emails being ignored by them) where they attempted to charge us extortionate prices for, at the very best, minor issues. It was only due to my friend and I standing our ground, that they eventually gave in. Still, the end result was not satisfactory but it was better than when we first started our dispute with them so if they do try to bully you, do not accept it! We had multiple issues such as broken doors, chairs, boiler issues that took weeks/months to sort out. It required me to chase them constantly and they had the cheek to say they never received my emails. If you are a STUDENT BEWARE! The fact both my friend and I were both students, they saw it as an opportunity to squeeze money out of us which I expect they will deny as always. Honestly, the worst company I have dealt with and urge anyone to avoid using their service. USELESS!NegativeResponsiveness, Quality, Professionalism, Value

GoogleComplete lack of respect for students and people in general. Yasemin Owen, was so rude and obnoxious to me and my friends when we decided to rent with King's Estate agents. Anything and everything we asked her to do was "too demanding" or too much "effort". She literally would sit there, giving dirty and condescending looks when you asked the simplest questions. Talk about being paid to do absolutely nothing. Another time I went in to sign some documents and she bluntly told me "I'm busy and the ticket on my car is going to run so you will have to wait". She barely acknowledged me as a person never mind as a client. I honestly couldn't have given a damn that her ticket was going to run out that's not MY PROBLEM. That's a personal issue which should not be brought up as an excuse. Total lack of professionalism. Funny how they would be hot on your tail for rent, but it takes them 2 months to sort out a sink after 10 emails later. She's also tried to charge me fees for leaving despite the fact that another estate agent had said that as long as i found someone else, there would be no fees. She tried to ruin my credit rating. I basically did her JOB FOR HER! It's probably safe to say that she's disrespected many student/professionals that come to their agency. Someone needs to learn some manners.

GoogleAvoid this place entirely. Absolute worst experience ever. I was due to move in over a month ago and have been so stressed out since only to be told yesterday that the house was going to be given to someone else when I have paid a securing fee for this accommodation. I've been commuting for over a month now for 4 hours a day to my job and not only is this costly but extremely exhuasting. This is a pathetic excuse for an estate agency and I'm very unhappy with the service provided.

GoogleOver the last 10 years, I have been a tenant, a landlord and sold properties using Kings Estate agency. From stakeholders to staff, Kings Estate agency is nothing short of exceptional in terms of their professionalism, attention to detail and caring nature. My suggestion to anyone reading this is that if you're looking at buy, sell or simply just to rent within Hatfield or WGC areas be sure to contact Kings Estate Agency because the likelihood is you will end up feeling the same as I do.

GoogleWouldn't recommend for student properties. Had to chase property management just as frequently as you would have to a private landlord, having paid 'agency fees'. Had a few occasions in which maintenance men / work men were given keys to our house without any prior warning in my first year of tenancy with Kings. Although some of the staff are lovely, property maintenance generally treat students as a nuisance instead of as customers. Although you wouldn't expect to receive your whole deposit back, Kings will return as little as possible so make sure you report any problems with the house during your tenancy, before check out.

GoogleAbsolutely horrendous!! Me and my house mates have been to hell and back with this place. They claim certain things have been done... when they haven’t. They don’t reply to emails and if they do it’s a week or two late. If you call it’s always excuse after excuse. They are quick to get money out of your pocket for waste bins etc and your deposit at the end, but not helpful / there when you need them. Kings is a complete waste of time. They gave us a run down house which was falling apart. We moved out back in March and it’s now almost September. We have had no update, call or email to let us know what is being done about our deposit? We have been patient and waited but have heard nothing. We have tried emailing and contacting them, but they arnt interested. Soon I will be paying a visit myself. Don’t go with this estate agent, it’s awful and you don’t get your deposit back. They are quick to take money from you and the staff are very unorganised. The properties they own are run down, full of mould and disgustingly filthy. Very disappointed!!

GoogleHorrible, horrible estate agents. Avoid at all costs. Monthly checks for our student house, where a young lady called Beth would come around with an unprofessional, rude attitude. Reported her for misconduct and heard nothing back from anyone. So quick to try to find something to charge us for, asked us to take down all posters after living in the house for one month, paid no attention to our broken upstairs toilet (leaving us with one to use between 5 for majority of our 10 month stay). No intention to work with you, only against you! Don’t expect any of your deposits back! Emails about problems with the house will be replied to in a month, but they’ll be sure to chase up rent!

GoogleIf you are looking to rent or purchase a property, I would highly recommend to avoid these cowboys at all costs, If I could give this shoddy business minus 5 stars, I would. Unethical and improper 'estate agents' with NO duty or care for the tenants that reside in there properties. The staff in this branch were unprofessional and uninformed during every interaction I had with them, which unfortunately lasted over the course of a number of months. Kings estate agents are by far the WORST estate agents I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
