TrustpilotI found a water stain in my scullery…
I found a water stain in my scullery ceiling. After calling out a plumber we discovered that the silicon sealant and tile grout were poorly finished leaving holes for water to seep through in the shower above. I contacted DWH and was told that they will not help as we are outside the 2 year warranty period. Shoddy workmanship has led to this and now I must find the money to fund the repairs. Shocking service and quality.

This review is not to comment on the quality of houses or end-to-end buying process with DWH, but to review the experience we had with DWH. We reserved a plot earlier this year at DWH (Drayton Meadows) and the customer service we recieved from the team was faultless. Unfortunately the unvierse did everything in it's power to make it impossible for us to proceed, but this was not for lack of trying from DWH. We had initially SSTC on our sale, when that fell through DWH offered to give us some time to try and secure another buyer before re-selling our reserved plot. We then secured a buyer but it was going to be touch and go on whether we would make the stamp duty holiday - DWH offered to help. We lost that buyer and DWH offered us the part-exchange option. It all seemed as though it was going to work out, but then my husband was made redundant, meaning we wouldn't have gotten the mortgage. If it hadn't happened to us, we would think this unbelieveable!! All in all, the team were so supportive, they refunded our reservation fee (which we fully expected to lose), and have left a positive lasting impression. Now that we are looking to buy again, we are almost exclusively looking at DWH developments.

Housing development running a seemingly fair business - though at this stage I have only completed the pre-plaster so will update when all is completed. So far, more honest and up front than I was expecting. Very helpful friendly staff. Impressed by the way incentives have been handled. House appear to be of high quality but will confirm when we have moved in.

Our dealings with DWH over the reservation of a new house has been flawless. Amanda, at the site/sales office is fabulous and really does deal with any queries you have in a quick, professional and friendly manner. They make sure you have a person to contact throughout the following stages to help with the process, obviously understanding how stressful moving can be.

When we moved in before Christmas it was obvious the rear garden needed land drains . We are now in April and still our request have been ignored even though our next door neighbour have had drainage put in and fresh turf . Plus we had a leak in the ceiling and the water mark has still not been painted over . 5 star builder you say

DWH customer service are very quick to respond to my postings on Trust Pilot, but none of their public promises are followed through.After living in this house for 13 months, we still have warm water coming from our outside tap and the bathroom cold tap.No emails are replied to and there is no telephone number available to ring them.

I unfortunately discovered a hole in the wall upon removing the radiator in one of the bedrooms. Upon contacting customer care who acted swiftly, Andy Wooding came out and did a brilliant job with the repair. Took a lot of pride in getting the finish right and very happy with the end result.

Joe & Duane replaced our damaged stairs banister and did the work quickly and efficiently. They then painted and varnished it and finished the job to a high standard, and advised us how long for the paint and varnish to dry. They were polite and helpful and did a fantastic job.
