TrustpilotExtremely poor after sales service
Whilst the build of the house initially needing lots of snagging they did come and remediate the issues. However, the site I am on have a management company to look after the public spaces who are assign by DW. They have been utterly shocking with ongoing issues with the entire estate and support from DW is none existent. The company are so poor that they have now been replaced by another management company which so far have been no better. I have been here a year now but the estate has been poorly looked after that since before I moved in. When I say it is poor, I mean ALL public spaces where there should be grass there is hardly any and 90% weeds it’s that bad. There are areas they have dug up and filled but not re-tarmac afterwards which has been like that for nearly a year. Kids can’t play in the parks because there are just full of prickly weeds and the area that was promised as allotments is now being assigned as industrial units and has remained empty for nearly a year and also the entire area is just weeds.Absolutely shocking with no one interested in resolving. They were very accommodating when they wanted their survey completing but after that they had not interest in anything.

Trustpilot2 months into living in our new build…
2 months into living in our new build house, which we love. But we have a very long list of snags. Slow to get these issues resolved, and I feel for the high level we expected from DWH, a lot of these snags should never have existed in the first place. Very friendly staff, just slow to get the snag list issues ticked off.

Sales agent attentive and helpful. Love the house. But lack of proactive communication on the delay on the completion date has given us a lot of stress, frustration and additional costs. From reservation of the plot we were told completion would be on last Friday of August. Although we asked several times as whether that date was still on we were always told yes, all on track for tgat datrme. So we booked the removal company. But 8 days before that date we received the legal notice of completion for the week after. Remals had no longer availability for thst date. Had to keep the original date to empty the house, put goods in storage, move to a hotel etc. Consequence removal costs doubled etc

Our salesperson Bernard, was very helpful from the initial enquiry, through the buying process and moving in. Also the site manager has been supportive with the after sales process and the minor snagging issues. The build quality and internal fixtures are of a high standard as is the surrounding landscaping. I'd love to commend Esther one of the Technicians in LGV. She is amazing, helpful, and knows her stuff. Every time she comes over to fix snags, it is as if a machine had done it, and she does it all with a smile and very engaging.DWH you need to give a raise - I have also heard similar reviews from neighbours about her and her work.

We have visited the Kingsborne site at DWH in Nantwich many times and can honestly say every interaction has been superb. All staff we have encountered have been super helpful, however we would like to personally recognise Gillian Tomlinson. Gillian on every visit was always super helpful , extremely knowledgeable , exceptionally patient and gave 5 star service. Gillian truly goes the extra mile! Beautiful show homes by the way too ! The Holden. We love the house style for downstairs living, Upstairs bedrooms all a good size, en suite is really on the small size for a master bedroom daily use. We are purchasing our new home and have to deal with many developers including DWH representatives from different sites. They are very professional, polite and client oriented.In addition to that, I found DWH properties to be good value for money. They may not look fancy from the outside, but are very functional and well planned inside.At present, I can't say anything about the construction quality over time. But the standard 2/10 years warranty is provided. The kitchens we saw look very good.

TrustpilotA long and never-end snagging list which makes me disappointed
Famous developers but poor quality on house finishing. The snagging list is over 200 items and never ends even I have moved in near 5 months already. The turf is extremely accidented and several sunken places are found in my garden.The replacement items are promised but never seen so far. I have totally lost my confidence on this developer and will consider seriously before recommending her to my friends.Almost a week passed, but still nobody follows up and contacts. An incredible experience through the whole journey. DWH staff was really helpful, and they still are. We've decided to go with part exchange and everything went really smoothly. Through the waiting period we were contacted few times to view the house. Anything we've reported was fixed next day.We are now in our new house really happy with how well we were treated.

We have suddenly been informed of new parking restrictions on the development. No parking on the roads of the estate, all cars should be parked on drives or visitor bays. There isn’t a big number of visitor bays, only 1 or 2 in some roads. What happens when these are full, we can’t have visitors.

Ian McDonnell was absolutely fantastic. Went above and beyond to make sure that our leak and paint job was fixed perfectly. Couldn’t be happier with the job he did!Also the plaster work from Andy Callahan and duane walker is fantastic. They checked over the pipes and leak to make sure there would be no residual issues. You’d never have known that there was a hole in the ceiling!
