We’ve recently reserved a plot at Minster View in Beverley, East Yorkshire. I popped my head in to ask a quick query on part exchange and that progressed to reserving a plot. Steph and Dawnie have both been amazing over the process and have assisted greatly in making the purchase financially viable for us. I can’t praise them enough. Steph and Dawnie are friendly, professional and very helpful. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to anyone looking for a new home in Beverley. The process so far has been enjoyable and easy. We can’t wait to move in to our new home.

Amazing staff when really needed

I recently suffered a flood in my house (faulty fitting). And whilst no-one wants this, you can’t do anything about the inevitable, if it’s going to happen this company and the team are the people you want behind you. I reported it at 7.30am to the site office. By 8.15 I had 3 men ripping out all the drenched carpets (there was no saving them). All arranged by the ASM David Jones. Who also rolled up his sleeves and helped rip them out. By around 9.30am I had a customer care manager (Zoe Coles) on site, making phone calls to ensure dehumidifiers etc were put in place. Both Zoe and David are the reason I did not go into a massive meltdown, they provided much needed help and reassurance. They had arranged an Airbnb within a few hours. And only 3 weeks in the house is looking brand new again. All skirtings, doors and frames etc had to be replaced including part of the kitchen. They have worked tirelessly and kept me updated every step of the way with no chasing. I was worried I would not be in for Christmas but Zoe said she would try her hardest and she achieved it by a mile. I am autistic (mildly) so this was a big thing for me and more then most people realise but I owe them a lot of thanks in helping ensure I wasn’t affected too much, without it I would have had a meltdown. I couldn’t ask for more then they have done and I don’t think they could have done more if they tried. Wonderful team and lovely people. No one wants a disaster but it happens, what counts is the service that follows and they by far surpassed it. If I could give 10 stars I would. DWH all the way

After this, I was disappointed by their referral friends/family scheme. They never mentioned during any of my interactions with sales team or in any of the promotional materials. This resulted in me missing the referral bonus which would have been a valuable benefit.

My Moving to a New Build Experience with DWH

Having been told & from experience, house moving can be stressful, I can honestly say that having DWH's along for the journey was a lot less stressful than expected.From the beginning the sales office lovely staff could not do more to help the process. Nothing was too much trouble and every question/query was answered in a timely manner. Once I had sold my house and put a deposit on my new DWH it was pretty much plain sailing and my new home is just gorgeous. Design of 'DW Homes' properties precipitates 'home-making' potential

DW Homes engage you with their substantial documented process providing an excellent audit trail and library for future reference. However, the strength of the customer engagement is vested in their staff, whether that be the sales or the construction operations - they have always been open, available and gone the extra mile. The PX scheme really helps by knowing that the sales process is chain free. The valuation provided was realistic and a great help towards finding the overall price of the new property. Nevertheless with an older property to part exchange, the level of detail of enquiries and solutions resulted in expensive costs that fell to us. Having moved in we have been hugely impressed with the build quality and the on-going access to the staff of DW Homes.

Sub-standard quality, horrendous support

Sub-standard quality, I currently live here. The estate is infested with wood-lice and the quality of the boiler (Ideal) used by DWH is so poor that it went faulty thrice within the past 4 months. We had to depend on kettles and blankets for showers & sleep, until DWH got someone, which was 6 days after. Pathetic support will be an under statement. There are other good builders in the vicinity, I'd suggest you explore your options.

Would give zero stars if I could

Would give zero stars if I could. Reserved a plot in September and was told exchange would happen within 6 weeks and completion by October. I then get a call saying it’s going to be December and a further call saying we can’t complete until end of January. The sales person has offered empty apologies and not done anything to help and has been very rude to our selling agent. Our whole chain is about to collapse and DWH don’t care about the hassle they’ve caused and the money they’ve cost everyone. Truly awful service and company and I will never use them again.

Super smooth journey!
