A great team all round, and a real contrast with other estate and lettings agents I've experienced! We have rented through Frost's and have now also bought a house through them. The lettings team - especially our property manager Melanie - have been very helpful, clear and throughout, with none of the heavy-handedness, spurious fees or dodgy lease clauses I've encountered elsewhere. And the sales team - we've spoken with Tom, Daniela and the progressor Sarah - have been a pleasure to deal with. They have been very proactive throughout the process and ensured that we have had all the viewings and information we might want. They made us feel that they are as happy for us - and pleased to help - as for the sellers. I'd definitely use them myself and recommend them to others.

If I could give this company

If I could give this company a '0' star rating I happily would. On 2 different occasions we have arranged viewings for properties to then be told the property had already been let, after we've traveled 2 hours to view them. On another occasion we made a viewing and were told en-route that they would be rearranging the viewing for a Saturday 'as its more convenient' for them. Of the 3 properties we did view, one woman was nice and polite, another turned up late then didn't have a clue what she was talking about and the same woman at the final property gave the impression she didn't want to be there. We actually considering taking one place that these guys were offering, but upon reviewing their fees we thought twice (just under £700 for two people). There are plenty of other estate agents in St. Albans, and I would much rather trust them with my money than this bunch of crooks.

Average. Well-drafted (clear) tenancy agreement. Charge over the top for references, but not as bad as some. No 24 hour contact, meaning that they aren't available when emergencies happen, and won't refund you if you take your own action. When they are in, though, they get things done (although they could be quicker). If I were the landlord, I would want a 24 hour emergency contact number for my tenants - ours have suffered damage as a result of one not being available.
