We chose LV Property Agents over their competition due to Jas Singh's honesty and openness from the start, particularly regarding the value of our property; other agents had quoted significantly inflated valuations, which we felt were unrealistic. Jas gave us a guaranteed price, at the upper limit of our expectations, which he not only achieved but did so within a week of marketing it! Excellent photos and a professional presentation helped secure this - other agents' photos can be substandard. The team - Jas, Sophie and Aimee - were attentive, honest, open, available and in excellent contact throughout, keeping appropriate pressure on the entire process to help everything go smoothly, which it did. We recently bought a flat which was marketed by LV Property. A mixed experience, one colleague was very helpful, always on hand for queries and kept me up to date. Another, more senior colleague tried to bully me into committing mortgage fraud. He rang me up at least 4 times on one afternoon and put considerable pressure on me to agree to an 'under the table' cash rental agreement with the vendors, and, even worse, put pressure on me not to tell my solicitor about the arrangement. As first time buyers the whole process is stressful enough without pressure from the agent to enter into an illegal transaction. I will be making a formal complaint regarding his actions. In addition I was greatly displeased to be forced to pay the agents a 1% deposit fee in order for them to take the property of the market. Our sale took 4 months and so they sat on over £2.5k of my money for all this time. I asked for it to be returned when we exchanged contracts but LV refused and insisted I only get it back on completion.NegativeQuality, Professionalism

I've recently completed on selling my property with LV. Having first put my my property on the market in lockdown 1.0 (great timing... Not) with a different agent, I'd received no interest in the first couple of months.i switched to LV and had 2 group block bookings within the first fortnight. The asking price was achieved and the sales process then started. Unfortunately this wasn't an easy sale, with some intricacies regarding cladding and a very "thorough" solicitor on the buyers side, everything was pointing to it falling through. LV, Aimee in particular, were fantastic. Following up on everything, chasing solicitors and brokers, keeping me informed along the way. It would have been much harder without this great service. Booked a viewing with the agency. I got to the location of the viewing on time and waited for 10 minutes for someone to turn up. After no one turned up I rang the agency and got told that someone will be there any minute. 10 minutes later I rang again and got told once again that I should be expecting to see a blond woman with an Audi at any moment. 20 more minutes have went by and I had to leave for work. A massive waste of time. Will not be contacting this agent again.

Unfortunately I have encountered an incredibly poor and unprofessional service with LV property. The staff at the JQ branch are rude and unhelpful. Despite letters of complaints there are outstanding tasks from the day we moved in! The actual manager is unreachable despite phone messages and emails to him directly. Instead you have to deal with juvenile members at the JQ office who have poor customer service skills. The property was not cleaned properly or redecorated to a suitable standard despite charging ridiculous membership and administration fees which have been £1200! Despite phone calls and letters they failed to formally reply to my issues and did not attend a meeting that I arranged to discuss the issues. This shows how little interest they have in customer satisfaction. They sent out a contractor who appeared to be an unofficial builder which again I was not happy with, as no professionalism or ID confirmation of who he was. He wrote down the list of jobs and never returned. The JQ team said they would ask the landlord about the jobs, 4 months on still no progression. Some issues are serious healthy and safety issues! I chose this company due to a busy lifestyle with the hope that it would be hassle free, however I have spent more time in sorting the property out myself! As a working professional I would highly advise against this company as they are only interested in taking your money, and after that they do not care about the issues with the property that they are responsible for maintaining. This is the worst estate agent company I have had experience with and will be taking this matter further with the ombudsman. Please read all their reviews with a star rating of 1; interestingly the same issues echo through which is in fact reflective of the real LV property. The self pocketing "membership fee" should have really been the clue to their questionable service!

I cannot rate too highly my my recent experience with LV. Very shortly after I placed my property on the market with the company, they had found a buyer. I was extremely impressed by the speed of this. The transaction then proceeded very smoothly to completion. This process was helped along most efficiently by the efforts of the sales team, and by Rav in particular, who ensured that any issues that arose were dealt with effectively, resulting in an early completion. I have no hesitation in saying that the service I have received has been second to none.

This agency was recommended to me by a friend. Rav who led the process through to completion, and Chantelle who also did some early viewings, were both extremely warm, friendly and always ready to help at the drop of a hat. From the outset they arranged a number of block viewings with both investors and first time buyers. We always felt like we were in good hands and hugely supported throughout the sales process. Calls and emails were always returned promptly and Rav worked tirelessly to push our sale through, and always with a cheerful smile. I would not hesitate to recommend them.
