My partner and I have rented 2 properties through Bourne. Both experiences have been very simple and the members of staff that we have engaged with have been fantastic. The first property we went directly to the landlord for support and occasionally spoke with Bourne if needing guidance or advice. Our current property is all through Bourne and has been simple and help. The team we have been working with are Molly, Ayisha and Sarah. Very helpful and supportive. We were kept informed throughout.

Ayisha and her lettings team at Bourne Alton are outstanding. Ayisha has managed my Alton rental properties for years. She is always a pleasure to deal with, and nothing is too much trouble. I always have full faith that good tenants will be found for my properties, and Ayisha keeps me well informed during the process. Once the houses are let, I can be fully confident that both the houses and tenants will be well looked after by the Alton lettings team.

I would give this estate agent 0 stars. They have no understanding of how their actions and lack of transparency affects their customers. I felt bullied, disrespected and lied to for my 5 month ordeal in purchasing a home with them. And then to be told that they are putting the home back on the market. I have fed back to this estate agent as a whole and had no apology but instead was made to feel as if I was in the wrong for not using their recommended solicitor. Shame on them as they truly failed to understand how much this has affected me and my mental health. I don’t want to name and shame who this agent was , but she knows who she is. Bourne in my eyes is all about business and a lack of empathy. Disgraceful and be warned!

Roanna in bourne was genuinely fantastic. She was really friendly and helped me out with the portal my solicitor used when I got stuck. Several times! When my buyer pulled out, she pulled all the the stops out to get another buyer for me asap before I lost the house I’d absolutely set my heart on! Between her and Lou they secured me another buyer in a matter of days. She was helpful the whole way through but was also honest when everyone in my chain was pushing for an earlier date she gave me a more realistic time frame but still managed to secure an easier date! I would 💯 use them again. Not that I plan to move again anytime soon!!!

I rarely write reviews but I have had such good service from Bourne estate Agents in Alton that I feel I want to highlight them and give the praise they deserve. As a family we have had a few dealings with them and in every single case they have gone above and beyond service levels that we would have expected. They one hundred percent work in the best interest of their clients and I cannot fault anything about the company, so if you are looking to sell,buy or rent a property in this area I would say they are the best agents to use.

Very Committed to selling your House

Bourne were very professional and committed to selling the house and did not stop until it finally sold. For that i am very grateful. The only reason i cannot give 5 stars is once the house sold there were complications with the rest of the chain. They went very quiet at this point despite giving the Spiel at the start of the process they understand the stress of moving and are with you every step of the way. They left it up to the new house sellers EA to deal with all the chain problems.

Keep well away

Awful company that should be avoided whatever you do. In fact, I'm certain their conduct isn't law abiding and is at best highly questionable and unethical. They exploit tenants, lie, and harass tenants all because "they work for the landlord not the tenant". Then continue to treat grown adults like inconvenient cash cows that they are most ready to belittle, degrade and harass, even though the rent was always paid early and we were great tenants who kept the place very well. Not worth the mistreatment and having to constantly remind them that they are dealing with grown adults not children. Truly, avoid at all costs.
