I originally enquired about a property that had already been let, but instead of ignoring my request like most letting agents do, Roanna emailed me with 2 alternatives that were a similar location and spec which I had enquired about. Booked in a viewing for both, as they were both part of the same building. Jayne met me on the day and as the properties were so similar, it was so hard to choose between them, so I asked to view the first one again, and she happily obliged. Jayne was confident, knowledgable, friendly and attentive to what I required and that I needed to move very soon and reasurred me that she could make it happen. I took one of the flats and all the paperwork went through without a hitch with both Roanna and Jayne keeping me up to date with everything as it progressed. As I moved into a new build, there were a few teathing problems, but again, both of the ladies were fantastic in their responses to emails and phonecalls, with nothing being too much hassle for them. I have rented many properties, and the team at Bourne have definitely been the easiest and most friendly agents to deal with, takes a whole lot of stress out of moving! Thanks ladies, its much appreciated!

Easily contactable, especially Roanna Ferne Alton Branch, always on the end of an email or the phone. Very new to the rental market as it's our first home and Roanna has helped us so much so far with every step of the way, approachable. I was also so impressed with Jayne Lettings Manager and her professionalism in showing us the property full of knowledge about the house and very welcoming, was key to us choosing this particular property. Communication is good. However, very very close to move in date and not heard from the property manager who is going to be in charge for us. Would be great to go over some details about the house beforehand as new to renting.

This agent handled the sale of an unusual, but not straightforward period property and subsequent purchase of a new-build, retirement apartment for my father. Dad is 83 years old and at the time of the sale/purchase, was recently widowed. Gemma and Andrew at Bourne couldn't have treated him with more care, respect, sensitivity and kindness throughout and we couldn't fault their professionalism. They were truly superb with all our family; going way above and beyond what you would normally expect from an estate agent. Moving at any time of life is stressful, but we'd recently lost my mother. Mum and Dad had been married for 53 years, so the move was extremely emotional. The sale ended up as part of quite a long chain. Everyone in a chain has their own needs and agenda and this was no exception. Several times it came close to collapsing and a few of the people in our chain were excessively demanding, inflexible and unreasonable, bordering on neurotic, but I can honestly say if it weren't for Gemma and Andrew the chain would have collapsed. They were diligent, tenacious, courteous and hardworking. Their marketing of my father's property was spot on and they quickly grasped our needs. More importantly they got way in excess of what two other local agents had valued the house at. We felt other agents had undervalued the property for a quick sale, but Bourne were open and honest with us about what we could (and indeed did) achieve. We can't fault them and wouldn't hesitate to recommend their company.

Me and my partner are very impressed by the service we have received regarding the property we currently rent. During the beginning of the process, we unfortunately had a spout of sad events meaning that us signing forms etc took a little bit longer than should have done. However, we can not fault the lettings team, in particular Jack and Jayne who were nothing more than understanding and patient throughout the process not to mention incredibly supportive. With regards to property management, we are also very impressed with Matt who has been nothing but speedy, efficient and incredibly helpful whenever we’ve had an issue! Always more than happy to help when possible and solve the issue ASAP! Would like to thank the whole of Bourne for the pleasant experience we have had with renting a property through you and would not hesitate to recommend the company to anyone we can!

Not good for tenants

Whilst helping a friend move was made very difficult when the tenants were lied to about the level of work that was about to be done you couldn't enter or leave the property, the mess made by the workman inside and out the house was unbelievable. I would avoid at all costs.
