Marissa showed us around a flat in Shoreditch. From the moment we were in contact she was incredibly friendly and personable and made us feel very welcome and comfortable. She was also extremely knowledgeable about the flat and the surrounding area which really helped us because we didn't currently live in the area. She also had a really nice way of making you feel like you were just having a chat rather than it being like an interview process or it being really rushed like it can be with many estate agents. We will definitely look to use Keatons for future flat hunting! Finally, if you look to rent through Keatons yourself then I would recommend requesting Marissa as your main contact as she was amazing!

Justine made the process so easy!

Given how crazy it is to try and find a flat at the moment, Justine from Keatons made the whole process so easy. She was always quick to respond and answer any questions we had, and helped to make things happen quickly from the moment we decided to make an offer on the property. She was flexible in arranging viewings and even let us back in once our offer had been accepted to take some measurements etc. Overall a great experience, I would definitely use Keatons again!

We have just sold our home through Keatons Shoreditch. Henry and OJ did a sterling job. Fantastic service, and a brilliant network of clients meaning they were ready as soon as we put it on the market with a list of appropriate clients. We sold our property so quickly thanks to their contacts and they made every stage of the sale run smoothly and easy to understand. I recommend them so highly! They also created a film for the sale which will not only serve as a lovely keepsake for us, it was also very useful in the selling process. They are a great company.

Poor communication / unresolved damp & painting

We have been in our new house over 7 weeks. Despite being assured by staff from Keatons that mould would be dealt with, rooms would be repainted either before we moved in or shortly after, it still has not happened. I have spent hours of my time chasing Keatons for this to be resolved. Whilst they said they are waiting on approval from the landlord, they have at times taken over a week to respond and only after me sending multiple emails chasing. In addition to this, one of our issues is rising damp which is the responsibility of the landlord to fix. I don't understand how this hasn't been resolved in nearly 2 months. Keaton's job is to communicate with the landlord and look after us as tenants. This has not happened. I was told I could chase contractors for our repainting and damp, which is surely the role of whoever is managing our property. I feel if there was intention and care towards us, their clients, this would have been resolved in this 7 week time frame.It appears yet again to be a case of estate agents over promising and under delivering.

OJ (Alku) was just fantastic. I spoke to two agents when I decided to sell the flat and while OJ had the benefit of Keatons being my reliable lettings agent on his side, his confident and honest manner won the deal (from his competitor who is technically best agent in the neighbourhood according to getagent). Communication has been open and incredibly efficient which I’ve really valued. Despite personal events and the complications with getting to exchange, OJ has been patient.
