Professional and friendly service

Leah Moseley and her team including Dominique Grapin , Oscar Clark have been amazing in helping me getting on the property ladder. As a first time buyer they took away all the stress, dealt with all queries in a timely & professional manner. When it comes to particularly tricky situations Leah is just fantastic! Wow what an amazing experience whilst selling and buying.. The service was truly amazing!! Using the portal to contact our solicitors was great.. The company is professional with a well organised communication portal, and I felt supported throughout my transaction. However, there were a few lapses: the lawyer handling my case missed some follow-ups and once misstated the source-of-funds requirements, which caused unnecessary stress. I would use the company again, but clearer communication focused on my enquiries would be a welcome improvement.

Property sale and purchase 2021

I have used the Partnership on at least two previous occasions, before selling and buying again in 2021.Overall, I do like the Partnership online portal efficiency, but this time, the personal touch did seem lacking. There was nothing wrong with our allocated solicitors themselves, on the whole they were very polite and helpful, but my lasting impression is that they were overwhelmed with work in 2021 and struggled to provide the level of service we have become accustomed to from The Partnership.I do appreciate the market in 2021 was incredibly busy, but both my transactions took a very long time - issues with right of way in particular (in relation to both properties) proved onerous and time consuming.I may well use the service again - fees are reasonable, I know how you work and you now have a history of account information relating to a number of property sales and purchases. I'm not sure I would recommend your service to anyone else at the moment though - I just think you have taken on more work than you can reasonably manage.Thank you.

Thorough and competent service

The Partnership were very thorough and competent property solicitors. Their client portal electronic system was invaluable for keeping the documentation organised, for easy uploading of completed documents and quick communication with The Partnership team. Hirakshi went out of her way to ensure our property purchase completed, having to liaise with and chase up our mortgage company multiple times to achieve this - thank you for all your help. My only suggestion is that as soon as initial enquiries are sent to the sellers solicitors this should be uploaded to the client portal and updated on a 1 - 2 weekly basis - this would reduce the stress of the process and ensure the client is fully aware of discussions which are going on between solicitors. Would happily recommend or use their services again in the future.

It seemed to take a long time to…

It seemed to take a long time to achieve anything. All the employees involved were polite and pleasant at all times but our transfer document sent by Special Delivery and signed for by you got lost and the stamped, addressed envelope I was promised to send another one in did not turn up. My impression has been that the staff maybe had too large a workload and were not always on top of things. The Portal was great although it took a while to get used to it.

They got the job done, however it wasn't without persistent pushes and chases that were necessary.--- in response to the reply from Peter ---Regardless of what the overall process average is (many factors that influence this have nothing to do with the partnership as I was told many times), the journey was full of chases and mainly, asking for explanations that we wouldn't get. If you want to look further into it, please do, many emails I sent were met with responses that seemed like a regurgitation of whats in a script, as if talking to an automated system. Only to prompt me to call and complain because it felt like I was being belittled for not having a law degree. I understand Laura and Abi were competent, what I was disappointed with was the hard to come by communication and guidance. I appreciate your response and your point, however my review still stands.

By far my best experience using a Property Solicitor , I only wish I new about you years ago as I am a property developer.The team are all amazing , they do what they say ,when they say they are going to do it. This may seem like a minimum expectation but in my experience has never happened with previous firms. The portal keeps you updated and manages all expectations. All questions answered , nothing too much trouble. I never had to leave a voice message or wait for a call back. Everything is updated on your portal. Nabil was a great help and very clear throughout the process. However the system that was used to carry out the conveyancing process was confusing and clearly is no substitution for a tailored service. High fees for a automated service, when I would expect to get a more personalised service that one would expect for such high fees! This is more like the conveyer belt factory service but through a portal system with more focus on gimmicks. The client should feel special when moving home and buying a house is a stressful process.

What a great service

What a great service. Leah and Dominique were completely professional and helpful throughout what turned out to be a complicated leasehold sale. They responded quickly to all my emails and phone calls. The portal was easy to use and very effective. When Leah was on annual leave another lawyer (Mandeep) took over my case and I was worried this may hold things up but she hit the ground running and was able to keep all the momentum going.
