NOT RECOMMENDED .Everything was fine when we start the tenancy ,we pay the rent in advance ,deposit like every other estate agent . When we give our notice they change the attitude with us. Start making views at 7pm even at 8pm .Every single time they had viewings they just leave foot prints on the floor . They ask us for professional cleaning but they did not make a profs. cleaning at the beginning .Making us pay the professional cleaning and saying if we're not paying they will not release our deposit .That happened and they forced us to pay the cleaning and they did not send until now the receipt for that .We finished our tenancy on 18th April .Very unprofessional attitude from david he basically made us pay for nothing and not showing us the receipt .We stayed 2 days with no water every time we called they asking us to call thames water .No customer oriented whatsoever ,best friends until you pay they're fees and deposit,after that you need to handle things . I would strongly not recommend this agency ever again.

My partner and I called on a Monday regarding a property we were interested in and we were answered by Daniella, who was very friendly and not only helped with regards to the property we called about, but was also able to suggest three others. So, arrived all the way from Godalming to view a property and 2 MINUTES before viewing time I received a call saying that let has been agreed with someone else. The guy kept saying he couldn't warn me earlier as the agreement just happened. I am sorry, but if you have agreed to show property to other people, why not to do that and then see who wants what?! had same experience with this agency last year, but at least I was told the property is gone day before viewing! they try to convince people to remove bad reviews by offering something and appologising, thats why it still has 4.5 stars. I WOULD AVOID this place.

Having been countlessly let down by another letting agency after the landlord decided to sell the property, Cavender swooped in and saved our bacon... big time! During a time where the market was tough and rentals were hard to come by we received a fairy godmother moment from the wonderful Isla at Cavender. Having been on their books for nearly a month, she set about calling us first to offer us a viewing on a property - precisely how letting services should work yet sadly they do not. After viewing the property, Isla set about rapidly processing our application and we had a decision within a few hours. From there on, everything continued to be plain sailing with communication being top notch and the speed of response and level of professionalism being out of this world. We now have a lovely property, precisely to our original specification and within the outlined budget - absolutely stonking service. My Landlord sold the house we rented privately, and I can say that my first experience renting with the agency, and the Cavender was sensational! I researched the ads, and I contacted and went in person to most agencies in Guildford. I received personalized service from Luis Estrada (who followed the whole process and cheered for our new house). Jasmine and the others were amazing too.They are transparent, they clarified all my doubts. I had all the attention and care necessary to complete the contract. It was love at first visit!
