It was my first time using Taylor Estate Agents in Gloucester branch and they definitely disappointed me and wasted my time. They have the worst service ever. And think everyone looking for an apartment is on their "beck and call". I say this because, I arranged to view a property and missed it because I had to attend an emergency board meeting. I called the branch and explained the situation and told them that the meeting would only take 1hr. The agent kindly told me to give him a phone call after my meeting to rearrange for the same day or another day. I called the office after my meeting and was informed that the agent had gone out viewing properties and would be back in 10mims upon which he will call me back. I waited 30 mins and received no phone call. Called up to 5 times with the same story saying "he is still out viewing properties and would be back in 10 mins". I called at 6pm and was told the agent had gone home. Next day 9am I called and was told that the agent had gone on a 2 weeks holiday. I'm like why didn't anyone tell me this the day before. I called 5 times and no one could tell me the agent was going on vacation or book another appointment for another day. The person I spoke to that morning told me that she can book another appointment but first she needs to check her calender and get back to me. She never did! I went to their office during lunch time and met with the same lady I spoke to in the morning. And all she could tell me was that the property was given to someone else the day before. I'm like excuse me? So they had given the property away the previous day whilst I called them upto 5 times and no one told me. She did not apologise or say anything. What an arrogant lady! I was furious at that service it was very terrible. Anyways, I got a better service from another estate agent and I rented a nice 2 bed apartment in a nice new built area in gloucester.

RENTER BEWARE, over two months and still waiting for our deposit of over £2,000 to be returned, this after going out of our way to insure the house was professionally cleaned before we exited the property and showing numerous new prospective clients around when the agent never turned up. *****Avoid****_0 star I rented a flat from Taylor’s for my daughter in Bicester for 8 months. The service I received was appalling. Firstly to speak to anyone at the branch is almost impossible. Calls are never answered, and if you are lucky you may have your call answered after several attempts to contact them.When you query something you are promised a call back which never happens. I have currently been waiting for a deposit refund and still waiting when the flat has been checked over more then 3 weeks ago and I have been told £100 will be deducted from my deposit for cleaning although it was left in a better state than when I became a tenant at the property.Avoid at all costs as I am sure there are other agents out there who are more thorough. Save yourself the stress!!! No response from Northampton office no response on sent emails and the phone calls just goes on messaging service left 100 voicemail and email still no response bloody jokers..I will be raising a complaint soon as I am back on the UK..

This is the most incompetent and unethical agent I have ever dealt with - after 3 months I still have not received my deposit back and they sent a million pictures of “dirt” from a room I never rented… no response when I said this was not my room… no sign of my money. If any problems with the house they will not respond either when I was renting. Terrible

used these to sell my house last October. completely useless! never had any phone calls returned, always had to chase them. The only time they bothered to phone me was day of completion. During negotiations the manager was even trying to get a better deal for the buyer, giving me sob stories! will never recommend or use again. The only positive out of the experience was Simon meakin, who handled our mortgage,even then it wasn't 100% smooth.

Do not let/ sell with this company absolute joke. They have let a property next to me. They hired a gardener who destroyed the boundary between houses, have been chasing them for weeks to have it fixed only to be told I need to chase the gardener They hired. The ignore every email. Also left there tenants with young children without water in the property for days. Rude staff.

Worst estate agents

I have been today to a property viewing in Luton( LU1 3 UN).I was early with one hour, since I had to travel from London. I announced them of my early presence and they've said that they will be there in 10 min. They were late almost 10 min.The agent was looking like he just finished his lunch. In one hand o bottle of Lacozade. His tie was looking like he's just came from a party , and not even a sorry for been late.I am done with Luton. I do not understand how their managers can't monitor their customer service skills

I have never dealt with such an unprofessional, rude and ultimately useless company! If you trust this bunch of morons to sell/ lease your house you need to have you head examined, trust me you would be better doing it yourself... They offer poor advice with little guidance, they are lazy and unresponsive but worst of all they are rude and unprofessional - what more would you desire from someone who is meant to be assisting you with probably the biggest purchase/ most stressful thing you can do in life. Trust me, stay well clear otherwise you will soon regret it!!!

Do not rent from these people. They are an absolute nightmare. From day one they will extort any fee from you they can and when you leave the property they will continue to extort from your deposit. I have been renting in Oxfordshire for 30 years and they are the worst I have experienced. The property management is a nightmare. It took them over six months to fix a leak in the bathroom by which time the water damage was extensive. They do not acknowledge any improvements you make to the property. I fixed a wobbling doorstep, repainted the front door, garage door, and window surrounds as well as the fascia, at my own personal expense, but they extorted £280 from my deposit for some scuffed paintwork and minor damage to a carpet which hadn't had any work done to it despite annual intrusive inspections. They said they would try to keep us as sitting tenants by seeking investors to sell the property to, but absolutely no attempt was made to do this. So pleased to be finally rid of them. Absolute nightmare company.
