Booked to view a property in bradley stoke by someone called Joe. He rang in the morning to confirm, we went for our viewing for no one to turn up for at least 10 - 15 minutes late, then he didn't have the keys and had no idea how to get in and said his phone doesn't work. He then walked off after cancelling our viewing, soon after another couple turned up to view the property and they were there to meet the same agent who they called to come straight back, he came back and give the same excuses to the next couple

When I complained I was told that they'd followed their processes but it seems that they like to kept that information to themselves.

As a first time landlord we were apprehensive about the process. Although we had no need to be as Sara from Taylors lead us through the process. She was upfront about the costing and assisted us in obtaining the relevant documentation required for letting. She was very responsive to any e mail queries and taking your phone calls. Our property was listed on Wednesday and rented by Friday! The entire process was professional, swift, stress free and truthfully exceeded my expectations.

Avoid!

If I could give less than 1 star I would. I would never rent from this or any other associated companies ever again and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. The experience I had from the time my tenancy ended until I had my deposit partially returned was nothing short of farcical. Their lack of communication and unwillingness to help or address any of my concerns made the process of moving significantly more stressful than it needed to be. They were far more interested in money, they have no desire to provide a decent service for their tenants. I ended up losing a portion of my deposit for which was completely unnecessary cleaning purely due to the fact that I was given the run around from the day I moved out. Had I not reluctantly agreed this saga would still be ongoing and I wouldn't have had any of my money returned. They repeatedly lied about the reason for a sudden increase in this pricing, refused point blank to provide an invoice, refused to listen to any concerns I had and effectively refused to discuss anything until I threatened to seek legal advice. Only then did I receive a phone call. This person was unable give any reason or address any of my concerns, and could not tell me why I was unable to have any sort of invoice. They also lied that the landlord had contacted me when he had not. Even after agreeing to pay these (illegal) cleaning fees just so I could be done with the whole situation it still took a further email and telephone call to have my money returned. Absolute joke of an agency. Avoid at all costs. If you do happen to rent with them take photographs of everything because they will use any excuse under the sun to keep your money.

Taylors Lettings of Northampton are the most atrocious, dishonest, incompetent buffoons I have ever had to deal with.They will come up with every excuse they can to keep your deposit. My partner left her property of two years in a better condition than it was when she moved in, yet they attempted to keep her deposit in a way that breached their own contract. They lied repeatedly to try and achieve this. Like others have stated, they will use "cleaning" as their main excuse. They also tried to charge her for cutting the council owned grass at the front of the property.One particular male member of staff acts like a bully on the phone. He is rude, unprofessional and just puts the phone down on you. He even made up a fake rate of VAT for a cleaning company that isn't even VAT registered in an attempt to justify keeping a large portion of my partner's deposit. It's worth noting that the person who owns the cleaning company in question used to work for Taylors Lettings, so make of that what you will.There are many other reviews making these same claims, but please, if you respect your hard earned money then do not give it to these cretins. If you are already renting with them then make sure to document everything before you leave, and seek legal advice if necessary.

If I could, I wouldn't give even one star. The agency/agent worked on behalf of one of owners, helping to delay and stalling the sales process for one owners benefit. And personal gain, as recieving money for this from said owner. Often not replying, selective replies, replying with delays once recieve instructions from other owner.

Terrible customer service. Enquiring about an errant deposit and put through to Bristol office twice who had nothing to do with the issue. However all credit to the Bristol office who called back to try and resolve my complaint although they knew it wasn't their responsibility. I sent numerous communications and was told the money was 'pending' they would 'speak to credit control and call me back' - never happened. After 30 days of trying I gave up; utterly useless.

Terrible service for our check-in, check-out and any communication about ending the tenancy.** DODGING a lot!I used zero deposit and they used COUNTRYWIDE to do the check-in and check-out report. The check-in report was concise and had super low-quality pictures and general comments while at the checkout they did a comprehensive bit-by-bit report with loads of dodgy comments on issues with furniture that existed before! Even of the things that were not mentioned in the check-in report. They tried to make a big claim for a deposit based on this!

Thus far we are very happy with the care and attention that Natalie from TaylorsCountrywide Oxford has provided. When faced in taking over the Agency of a flat with sever mould problems, which has been ignored for months by the previous Agency- Natalie jumped in to move things forward with the landlord and get things fixed. The problems are not fixed as of yet- so I am hopeful, but cautious in waiting for the problems to be fixed. She has been kind, attentive and understanding as we have worked with her. We are so very thankful to have an Agent who seems to care to take care of us at the renters and the landlord.

Where do I start? Dreadful people.

Where do I start? I rented an apartment from the Bedminster branch, and it was an unbelievably awful experience from beginning to end. They lied about the opening inventory, there was no hot water or heating for most of the tenancy period (and they literally couldn't even be bothered to reply, let alone sort the problems out), they lied about damage caused when I left (which I did not cause), and now they refuse to communicate with me regarding the return of my deposit. Needless to say they are also withholding my deposit with no legitimate reason whatsoever. It would be really difficult to find a worse company to deal with. They treated me shockingly badly, lied through their teeth, and are trying to steal my deposit. Just awful. Avoid at all costs. UPDATE: 3 months later, I opened a dispute with Taylors via MyDeposits and submitted my honest evidence to counteract their lies and today received the deposit refund in full. Keep evidence of everything Taylors tell you (they WILL lie later on), take photos of everything, take videos of everything..... eventually, you will get your money back from these rogues (as long as you are being honest).

Absolutely useless and infuriating - they feed you empty promises and lies constantly saying they have done what you asked and then you realise they actually never did - over and over again rinse and repeat - they will NEVER respond to your issues with the house you rented unless it is an emergency that will damage the house never mind that it is a risk to your health unless you literally ring them up every day multiple times for 2 whole infuriating months and then eventually maybe they will do something after you say you will put in a formal complaint but not after they tried to gaslight you first saying nothing is wrong

GDPR Violations

The Aylesbury branch handled a single inquiry. They decided this was enough to add me to mailing lists and bombard me with spam. They have zero understanding of GDPR. Customers must opt-in for mailings. I never opted in. Their unsubscribe fails. The sending e-mail is not monitored either, so it is impossible to unsubscribe.I blame Countrywide - their owners, for inadequate oversight of their subsidiaries. Interestingly Countrywide fails to publish any public privacy policy. All major companies do so and include a clear e-mail where users can send in privacy concerns. This speaks volumes.Unless this gets sorted immediately I shall report them to the ICO where they may be subject to fines of up to 4% global revenues.
