The team at Elephant give estate agents a good name! I bought my first home from a vendor using Elephant and used them again when I came to sell the house and move on (to another house sold by Elephant!) and can't recommend them enough. Alys looked after me through both of the purchases and was incredibly patient, energetic, kind and determined as she guided me through the process of buying and selling. The photos they have taken and their understanding of the Bristol market are worth the money alone and they are lovely people to deal with. They are so prompt to respond to queries and I never felt pushed towards any decisions that weren't right for me. We were so pleased we decided to use Elephant when we recently sold our house in Bristol to move to Hampshire. From day one, the service we received was excellent. Everyone we dealt with in the team (Alec, Emily, Kitty, Ben) was a pleasure to work with - their approach was professional and responsive and they were all very good humoured! He managed to speak to solicitors at the bottom of the chain who wouldn't answer the phone to our solicitors and also stop the top of the chain from pulling out. The wonderful people at Elephant took all of the stress and worry out of the tricky situation of selling a flat and buying a house simultaneously. They took such care with all of the details right from the beginning, for example sending a great photographer who took brilliant photographs, so that we felt instantly reassured that we were in good hands and that every effort was being made so that we would get the best deal we possibly could. Everyone we dealt with at Elephant was also extremely helpful, clear and knowledgeable, and we really felt very expertly guided through the whole process, and that there was a sound plan in place to move things along. Plus, all the people we dealt with at Elephant -- Daisy, Nick, Alys -- and absolutely everyone else as well, were really just excellent at keeping in touch with us and, crucially, at following things up and chasing down all the details on a daily basis, without which I’m sure things would have been much, much slower. In the end we had a buyer within the first month of putting the place on the market, and were able to move house to a home we absolutely love in less than six months. Thank-you so much Elephant!

I always felt they genuinely put my interests first with great advice about when and how to market the property best. Their valuation was realistic and helped generate plenty of interest in my property. Another important factor is the quality of the photographs taken by Elephant. They are wonderful and certainly helped make my property stand out from the crowd. The photos are such an important aspect in the Rightmove era. We wanted to use a local firm when selling our house, as opposed to a national machine, and elephant fitted the bill. While some of the other local companies we spoke to seemed competent, they had a rather hackneyed feel; we felt we were just more grist to their mill. Elephant on the other hand were a young, local team keen to make their mark and gave the impression our sale mattered. The brochure they produced was excellent as was their understanding of on-line technology in today’s market. They also stuck with it when things got difficult due to circumstances totally outside their control. I’d use them again and would have no hesitation in recommending them to a friend.
