My first experience with Elephant was when I viewed a flat they were selling. As anyone wanting to buy a flat I asked what the management fee and the length of the lease were. The lady did not know and said she would send me the information once she was back in the office. It never happened. Few weeks later I called their office as I wanted them to have a look at my property and maybe take it on their books. I rang the office 5-6 times over 2 days, not once the phone was answered. I left a voice mail stating why I called - no response. I even sent an email, and yes you guessed correct, no luck. At the end I just gave up on them.NegativeResponsiveness

When I bought my flat in St Andrews, Elephant were the agents, and I found them to be responsive and helpful. When I came to sell they were the natural choice, but this was reinforced when compared against other local agents who just didn't seem to have the same knowledge and understanding of the market. Thankfully they also depart from the smooth/pushy estate agent stereotype. Elephant, and Alys in particular, have been responsive, supportive and have really helped with the process from start to finish.
