1 Stop have been brilliant from the start to the end of my lease. Any problems with the flat have always been fixed very promptly and with no hassle. They always respond quickly to emails/phone calls, and are very polite and professional. They have been very accommodating with the end date of my lease, which has really minimised the stress of moving. I would highly recommend them and would be happy to rent from them again.

"Foreigners and Students Need Not Apply" I found this agency extremely condescending and discriminatory. My first phone call I was told that since I was a student, my full-time job did not count. They would not look at paystubs or bank statements. If you have the "student" status, you have to either have another Scottish homeowner sign for you (even if you are an adult getting a graduate degree with a career) or pay six months up front. I said I would pay six months up front but then they left me a voicemail a day later saying "Sadly, we insist on three months UK residency prior to letting a flat." I called back asking why I was not told of this in advance, as they were well aware of the amount of time I had been in the UK. They said they were fine with it, it was the landlord who had the problem. However, the other employee said it was their policy. I felt that they would come up with any excuse not to rent me the property. If you are not Scottish and if you are a student, regardless of your employment or financial status, do not waste your time.

I found 1 Stop a breath of fresh air after having nothing but trouble with a number of 'big name' Agents over the years while renting properties. Almost without exception every problem/query was dealt with or a remediation instigated within 24 hours. Their service has a personal touch with years of experience, you know you are not dealing with a youngster with a checklist. Now I have taken then plunge and bought a property I don't know what I'll do without them! Can't recommend them highly enough.

When I was moving flat in Glasgow and having a look around, I genuinely only looked for properties managed by 1Stop Properties and as a result found a home in Glasgow for a happy and hassle free 4 years. My sister let her flat in Glasgow before me through them and both of us are full of praise for the 24 hour support, friendly, understanding and professional staff. I absolutely adored my flat and would never have moved out and away from Glasgow had it not been for a new job. I would recommend looking at their properties first and foremost if you are moving in to or around Glasgow, I don’t have a single bad word to say about them.

Great letting agency, with very helpful staff. We have been with 1 stop for a year during which the only contact they had with us was to arrange the quarterly flat inspection. Otherwise we were left to ourselves and they were always extremely helpful when we contacted them with any issues (which wasn’t many and none within their control to prevent) Also worth noting that the process to move into a new property was very very quick with them.

I had 3 properties to view with them. The first one was terrible. It looked like the tenants living in there were running an illegal brothel. (The older agent that showed us the property was polite.) The second property, I was booked in to view was cancelled as they said it had an offer and was taken. Finally I saw the third and was the first person to call in to put the deposit down for it. The agent in the office told me its not a first come first get basis. (Fair enough, but that wasn't the case with the 2nd property I was booked to view and cancelled on). He then said he would contact me to let me know after. I waited and heard nothing from them! They wasted my time especially as they knew my circumstances that I needed a place urgently as I live in London and am being transferred to Glasgow.

After a challenging and unsatisfactory experience with a previous letting agent in Glasgow, including irregular and "lost" rental payments, as a landlord we started working with 1Stop Properties in January 2013 and have nothing but praise for their performance. Most importantly, payments have been processed on time every month for 5 years without exception. Regular property inspections have been very useful in ensuring that the flat has been kept in excellent condition by the tenant. Recent tenant changeover is proceeding very efficiently with minimal time without a tenant which is obviously the ideal situation. To all at 1Stop Properties, keep up the good work.
