We had awful service whilst with this agency. Bad quality property, not worth the price. They also tried to over charge us when we left, with the cleaner being the owners daughter! Avoid! Update* the floor boards were falling apart and seemed to be 50+ years old, shitty furniture and a bedroom door with a lock drilled in as a front door. Yes we did stay there 3.5 years not by choice, until we could afford our own place and get away from awful landlords that increase the rent by the maximum every chance they get. Also i would say reporting mice multiple times a major issue. And we had to dispute the charge on departure, you were trying to charge £100 which was a joke. Hope this clarifies the situation.

Agent replied · 9 December 2024

Hi Chelsea, I am sorry to hear that you felt you did not have a good experience during your tenancy. We appreciate all feedback, both positive and negative and I would be grateful if you could provide details of how you found the property to be poor quality. According to our records, you resided at the property for over 3.5 years and during that period you did not report any significant issues. The deduction to your deposit was only £50 and this was justified by a direct comparison between the check in and check out reports. We are a small family run business and have been known to employ trusted family members to carry out works. The property required to be cleaned at the end of the tenancy, regardless of who carried it out. I hope I have clarified the situation and wish you all the best for the future.

Brilliant service provided by Infiniti properties. This was my first experience letting a property as a landlord, and Scott Hume was very patient and helpful in explaining all the details to me before I finally decided to instruct Infiniti properties as my letting agents. From then on the service provided was truly professional, from advertising the property to providing detailed feedback after each block of viewings. Within a couple of weeks I received a few offers which was a very good turnaround. The process after a tenant was found was very slick and professional, with Angie Wylie’s involvement making the process very quick and easy, which is ideal for me as I work full time. Thanks Scott, and Infiniti properties , for successfully letting my property in such a short space of time - 1 month after I purchased the flat they found a tenant who has now moved in - great work!

Ok, so I had a flat viewing arranged with this agency. After I have arrived on time, there was no one around and the doors were locked. A minute later (honestly one minute after I suppose to have a flat viewing) I got the message from this useless agency that the flat was taken by someone else and the viewing is canceled. Which was really strange to me since I did phoned them up one day before to confirm that the flat is still available. Thankfully I don't need to deal with them anymore. To me they seem to be lying or just very unprofessional, none of these is good if this would suppose to be my landlord.

It was myself and my girlfriend's first time moving in together and we were looking for a flat in Glasgow's southside or west end. We seen a property on Gumtree which was exactly what we were looking for and everything was easily managed from there on out. Ann came and showed us around, gave us some advice and explained everything crystal clear what we'd have to do to make sure everything was sorted out which was amazing as we weren't too sure ourselves. Iain and Daryl were perfect while were getting everything together. We called up the office a few times unsure about what we were filling out and they were more than attentive and made sure we were doing everything correctly. We were moved in and settled within the day of handing in the paperwork thanks to the help we had. Made it very easy for first time movers getting their own place and we're so thankful for it - we had been messed around prior with private letters so we were a bit reluctant afterwards but we were definitely looked after. Can't recommend Infiniti enough. For a first time mover it definitely gave me a lot of confidence for when we decide to move in the future. 10/10!!

My experience with infinitiproperties was a good one as they have good customer relationship. They are cordial and helps their client to secure a good accommodation that suit their interest. They are not too rigid in accessing their potential tenants but endeavours that once a person merits a house offer, it's normally given to the person without discrimination. The only thing I can suggest to them is that when involving an independent body (which they do) for their inventory on a new apartment, a copy of the record should also be sent to their tenant, this can bring more transparency in their good work. In general, Infinitiproperties is a good housing agency which is worth recommending to friends. Thanks.

Honestly, I have called up so many agencies and have tried to get flats and arrange viewings and this agency has been the best by far. Ian, who was the main person who helped me out, was very helpful and got back to me on everything. I felt valued and confident to trust the agency. At some point going through the application process I was asked things and due to being busy with work so many things did not crossed my mind and Ian made the suggestions which made me feel valued rather than trying to get the best they could for the agency's benefit. Not had this kind of customer service from an agency before. Really lovely people. :)

Infiniti are, without a doubt, the worst letting agent I have ever had the misfortune to deal with. They constantly failed to return phone calls or reply to emails. I suspect internal communication within the company is poor as it often took phoning every day and demanding to speak to specific individuals to get even the slightest thing done. Believe me, if you are told "I'll pass this on" don't believe a word of it. They also greedily tried to retain the entirety of our deposit (we were eventually awarded 85% of the deposit back thanks to Safe Deposit Scotland rejecting Infiniti's claims). Our property had a severe problem with condensation which Inifniti failed to deal with in all but the most perfunctory manner. They even had the brass neck to try and blame the situation on us as tenants despite two separate reports from damp proofing companies stating otherwise. An absolute shambles - to be avoided. They are getting one star because there is no option for zero.

Kevin · 22 June 2015

Agent replied · 19 June 2024

Dear Kevin, please allow me to introduce myself, I am Scott Hume, the Managing Director of Infiniti Properties, I am now active of Google+ and working hard to encourage open and honest communication via this medium. I have had a chance to review your comments and see that your property was managed by Priority Properties, which we acquired at the end of July 2013. I have read over the adjudicators report in which they award the landlord £90 for cleaning, despite the landlord asking for more, purely on the basis that the check in inventory was not that clear, it also states that the landlord wanted to retain £400 to redecorate but this was not upheld because the ingoing report was not that clear and it could not determine that it was the tenants fault and hence the majority of the deposit was refunded to the tenant. All of this accurate and not in dispute, I have only 2 comments to make, the first is that I feel you have been harsh towards Infiniti Properties, who were not the agency who handled your check in, nor where we the agency who the landlords said they had asked to do repairs, we are getting the brunt of your frustration because we handled the check out as well as poor communication. On the communication front I apologise and as way of explanation, we had taken over 2 lettings agencies in quick succession and the transition period was difficult and not ideal. The second point I want to make is that we as an agency use an independent & APIP registered firm of inventory specialists to handle all of our ingoing and outgoing reports to ensure 100% unbiased views for the benefit of all tenants and landlords, obviously we can't go back in time but I wanted you to know this. I would appreciate your comments on what I have said. Kind regards, Scott Hume

The worst agency which I ever had. I had an experience with Newton letting agency before and was really happy with their service. And was sure that it will the same with Infinity. But.... First of all, after moved in we checked that washing machine was broken by previous tenant. And we were waiting for new washing machine for 5 weeks! And had to spend own money for the laundry. Also had to clean the flat again after their "professional" cleaners. Found a lot of dust and hygienic staff under the bed and sofa, rest of the food under kitchen shelves with many insects. At the day of our check out we made it even cleaner than it was before. But Ann found dirty oven tray which we didn't use and was with landlord dishes. We had our own dishes and oven tray. And she also found that tiles in bathroom need to be bleached, but it was the same when we moved in. I had all pictures of dirty flat and all marks on the wall and insects in the kitchen. I only didn't have picture from the bathroom and oven tray which I didn't use. So I was charged 54 £ from my deposit. And today I received a bill from Scottish Hydro that I need to pay for the electricity period 20-24 th of February. But our check out was on 20th of February and I gave a key and took picture of meter reading that day. I' m thankful to them that our contract was till 19 of March and we couldn't stay in cold flat anymore and we asked to find new tenant. And as they asked me to move out on 20 th of February before new tenant will move in we left the flat that day. And now cannot understand why do I need to pay for the electricity for the days when I wasn't in the property.... Anyway I'd like to say thank you to Daryl and Cheryl. They are doing their job very well.

Don't want to deliberately damage anyone but I have to agree with the last reviewer and would like to gently warn against this company. There was something more than a little bit shady about this letting agent. Although the flat I rented from them was very nice I felt their customer service was not good. They seemed to be very late refunding my deposit, and really quite keen to keep as much of it as possible. A very hard nosed approach and a certain rigidity. I agree that they have a nice portfolio of flats but nonetheless could not advise staying with them.

Daniel · 22 June 2014

Agent replied · 19 June 2024

Dear Daniel, please allow me introduce myself, I am Scott Hume, the Managing Director of Infiniti Properties, I am now active on Google+ and encouraging honest and accurate reviews/responses for the benefit of Google users. After looking at your account I see that you were initially refunded 75% of your deposit with the remaining 25% being withheld until the cost of a broken bar stool and window cleaning invoice came in. Once these amount were known you were refunded a further 17% of your deposit meaning that 8% of your deposit was retained to cover the broken stool and clean the windows. The time taken to resolve the entire situation was 7 weeks. I therefore cannot understand why you would use words like "shady" when referring to us! We are a family run business of some 15 years and manage hundreds of properties successfully. I would invite your comments now that I have had a chance to investigate and respond? Kind regards, Scott Hume

Infiniti were the perfect agency as a first-time tenant

First time dealing with an agency as a tenant looking for a flat, and have been pleasantly surprised by how good everything has been, from flat viewing to the tenancy itself. Everything has been arranged quickly, which was even more impressive given the current housing situation in Glasgow. Viewing has been great, and the decision has been made almost right away, while other agencies sometimes took weeks to accept which was a huge waste of time. Background checks and the whole process of setting up the tenancy have been easy, thanks to Sharon who was there to guide the whole process and promptly answered any queries that we had. Proper tenancy contracts have been arranged with no trickery. Nice system to electronically sign the contracts. The tenancy is supported by an additional website that is very useful and shows current details of the tenancy, stores your balance and also allows to file detailed repair requests, that show up as ongoing maintenance issues, until resolved. However, the good thing is that you do not need to fully rely on the software, and can always opt to send them an email and expect a quick reply. Additionally, Inifinity uses an independent third-party company (Pinstripe) to build inventories, who did a very thorough and detailed report with many images, and also have a system where you can add your own comments and evidence before you accept the inventory, which is neat! Overall, very satisfied with Infinity as my first time dealing with an agency. This review covers everything from the viewing, up until the first week of the tenancy. I will provide another review further down the tenancy.
