My partner and I were looking for a new flat and DJ Alexander could not be more helpful. Many of the services were automated and online meaning that when we did need access to information it was readily available. If we did have more questions, and there was a lot, our contact Laura Mc was extremely responsive and friendly, often picking up the phone within minutes of me sending an email and remaining professional and friendly throughout. This is so much better than the agents I've dealt with in the past who takes hours or even days to respond. Next time we move, I'd definitely want to use D.J Alexander again!

TrustpilotChasing Deposit Return Since June 1st
My son and his flat mates have been waiting for his deposit to be returned since vacating a rental property from this company on 1st June. They are not responding to the deposit safe company, my son or myself despite numerous calls. The checking out team have no direct lines of contact. You have to await a phone call which never materialises. Awful service which is causing stress, anxiety and financial difficulties.

From the initial viewing, receiving the keys, and navigating a few Landlord bumps on the way, Evie (Property manager) has been nothing but fantastic.Quick to respond to any queries, efficient, professional and personable throughout.In her absence the 'PM' Team were great to deal with too.I would highly recommend and wouldn't hesitate to let off them again.

I can't speak highly enough of her who genuinely cared for us, was flexible and helped get us in the place. GoogleDriver of one of your emblazoned minis tried to run us off the road in East Kilbride then proceeded to stick the finger up in a show of complete arrogance! I can assure you, you wouldn't have been so brave had we both been out our cars. If that's the kind of people you employ, I wouldn't dream of using your service.

GoogleWhen Speris Gumley sold to them, after a long time of renting with them, all the problems started. Staff is unhelpful and doesn't seem to communicate with each other so that you're often talking to several people about the same issue that don't know what you've communicated with the other, The tone is so much more unfriendly, even in their general communication.

TrustpilotAvoid renting with them if you can
They had a good selection of properties and found what seemed like a nice flat with them, the problems started when we moved in.First the roof leaked as a constant stream of water into one of the bedrooms each time it rained, this was initially brushed off as “unusual high amounts of rain” to a low priority problem and only got fixed 1 month after reporting and constant pestering. This was followed by a leak from our bathroom to the flat below, which meant we couldn’t use it for 2 months before it was fixed. Then the simple problems of a blind falling off the wall in one of the bedrooms took two months from reporting (and pestering) to being fixed, this impacted privacy and made sleeping for night shifts difficult.We initially stayed as we were told they were working on a compensation package if we did, which inevitably never came. If I could sum it up it would be looks good initially, but they are very slow at dealing with any big or small problems, which is kind of the opposite of what you want as tenants and I would avoid if you can find properties with other companies!

the boiler in my rented property (I am the landlord) packed in. Dale from the maintenance team was extremely helpful - helping with getting a reputable engineer to give a 2nd opinion and then managing the process of getting quotes and getting the work completed quickly and efficiently. Hassle and stress free for myself (other than the cost :-) ) thanks Dale !

I'm grateful to Cara Jenkins who explained me the policy related Guarantors. Apparently, you do not need one if pre-paying for 6 months. Before that, I had a phone conversation with a person (did not ask name) who told me that even if I pre-pay for 12 month there is no chance I can rent without a UK based guarantor.Five stars to Cara , 0 stars to the other guy.
