Fine home - excellent customer servicesTransferred to D J Alexander and experienced poor and unhelpful customer serviceThey make up their own rules and make you pay additional charges for them to bank transfer money to you if you make a mistake saying it’s a service out of lease. They charged me %20 of the money they owed me.

This is a truly horrible company. The worst experience I've had as a tenant. Very unorganised, always a different person answering e-mails. They will try everything they can to not repay your deposit including trying to make you use their cleaning company which is illegal. I would never consider renting one of their flats ever again and I would stay away as a landlord as well

As a landlord I wasn't very impressed with DJ Alexander. Any repairs they organised were expensive and when it came to letting it seemed like they were more concerned with their own convenience than that of the owner e.g. wanting a 2 week void between lettings to allow them time to inspect the property. Would not use them againl

The absolute worst company I have ever had to deal with. Avoid them at all costs! Moved into our flat that had clearly not been cleaned with mould everyone and the floors not even been hoovered. After we moved out due to the disgraceful way we were treated (we didn’t have a shower for 3 months and DJ Alexander did not fix it), we have now been billed a £400 cleaning fee despite cleaning the flat from top to bottom before we moved out. They are clearly deleting reviews as I have never heard anyone say anything good about them.

Absolutely shocking service. I was meant to be viewing a flat at 2 o'clock but received a text just after 1 saying they didnt actually have keys for the property & then on the second viewing they arrived 20 minutes late with no prior warning & I was on my break from work so was late getting back. Needless to say I never pursued the flat.

My partner and I had previous negative experiences with unfair letting agencies who asked for unreasonable fees for works conducted by the tenants, as well as being incredibly slow to respond. Our experience with dj alexander has been nothing like that. Through the years, they have been quick to respond to queries and concerns, and have dealt with issues promptly. More recently, we had an inspector named Giulia Ceccarelli come in to evaluate the state of our Stockbridge flat and she truly went above and beyond to ensure our living situation was as safe and comfortable as could be.

I am writing this review after almost experiencing DJ for more then 2months. We have moved to a home in April and have reported few issues(both major and minor) The team still keeps asking us to share photos which we have done multiple times. What I feel is they really are worst when it comes to how to deal with tenants. Worst experience ever.

Kiearan mooney was incredibly helpful through the application process, understanding of my circumstances of having to move back to Ireland if I didn't find a place, he helped me find this in the nick of time. This process can be relentless so the relief of finding a place was comforting.
