GoogleWe recently went on a viewing with Alex, Wards viewing guide and must say I was very impressed with the level of knowledge Alex had about the property in Hawkinge we viewed. Very reassuring knowing the details she goes into seeing as I have my house on the market with Wards and Alex doing my viewings. Speaking of my property, I just wanted to also point out the professional manner in which Callam has dealt with the marketing. Has been prompt with advice and detailed in updates about my property and the market in general. Wards of Folkestone, I thank you and wish I could give 6 stars.

GoogleWe contacted Wards after a bad experience with Purple Bricks and Lucy Stocker came to see us. She was professional, informative and advised us the best way to sell our house. Initially we didn’t take her advice and viewing feedback was slow and negative. Once we took her advice the house sold within a week for a price we were happy with. Average in other countries USA: 69 days Canada: 105 days France: 105 days Germany: 106 days UAE: 107 days Portugal: 122 days Italy: 137 days Australia: 137 days Spain: 152 days UK: 183 days Saying that, our experience with Wards, made this process much more bearable. Ellie, who has shown us the property was great, pleasant, helpful and reassuring after long day of viewings. She treated us more like friends than clients. Thank you again and good luck!

GoogleWe had a wonderful experience with Wards when purchasing our first home! Ellie, who showed us round the property, was enthusiastic, professional and informative. She definitely sold the house to us! Throughout the process we had a large amount of contact with Callum who was able to answer any questions we had and also gave us a second viewing where he helped with measurements. All staff that we interacted with were friendly and helpful and made the first time buying process very smooth!

GoogleWards Estate Agent's 'Modern Auction': A Warning Steer clear of Wards Estate Agent's "Modern Auction." They push a non-refundable 'reservation fee' (thousands of pounds) that you pay upfront. I was lucky; I pulled out before paying it, but only after realising the huge risk. This fee is non-refundable, no matter what. It felt like a complete waste of my time and a system designed to guarantee them money, regardless of the outcome for the buyer. Don't fall for it. It's a costly, time-wasting, and frankly, sneaky setup.

GoogleAvoid at all costs for sale/ purchase. We are 5 weeks in since the chain completed for a purchase. Wards have done absolutely nothing to progress the sale. They have issued incorrect memorandum of sale to both ours and the sellers solicitors, so neither side knew who they were dealing with. They never answer the phone and do not respond to emails. Only now, after multiple complaints and involving another estate agents dealing with the chain, have we got an updated memorandum of sale, so the two sets of solicitors know who they are dealing with. It seems to me that if you do not use their preferred solicitors, who they will try to hard sell to you, they will do nothing on the sales progression side. We are now taking this up with Arun Estate’s, their parent company.

After the sale of the property l experienced a complete lack of communication and empathy from.the agent. Despite repeated attempts to get assistance. They failed to contact the seller after collecting their commission. Their handling of the situation was highly unprofessional showing no willingness to support or resolve outstanding issues. Overall the service provided was below expexmctation and l would not recommend their services to anyone looking for a a reliable and responsible agent.
